POLITICIANS COME FROM AMONG US,NOT FROM ANOTHER WORLD.
IF WE DISCIPLINE OURSELVES,WE WILL ALSO PRODUCE GOOD POLITICIANS.
I THINK SUCH SCENERIO SHOWING OFF BLOCKS OF RESOURCESES AT OUR ECONOMY , THIS IS TO BE A SUCCESIVE RESULT WHILE MOVING ABOUT THE ECONOMY AT POINT ONE OR EXPORT AND IMPORT BOTH ARE EVEN, AND THEN OUR CURRENCY WILL BE THE TOP INTERNATIONALY, OTHERWISE THERE IS GROWING OFF AN UNBALANCED ECONOMY.
Re: Re: UNBALANCED ECONOMY
by RAJIB on Dec 08, 2010 12:19 PM
THE AFORSAID COMMENT IS NOT A LONG SENTENCE, IT IS TO BE A LAKE OF COMPREHENCEBLE OF US, IT IS MEANT THAT UNTIL OUR ECONOMY IS BOOMING ABOUT IN AROUND THE VARIOUS KINDS OF ECONOMIC TRANSACTIONS , THE ECONOMY IS CALLED ON BALANCED,IF FOR EXAMPLE EXPORT , IMPORT TRANSACTIONS WILL BE GOING ON THE NORMAL WAY,THE ECONOMY WILL BE THE TOP IN THE INTERNATIONAL LEVEL, SO THE GOVEMENT IS NOT ACCUSED OF THE ABOVE THEOREM

In rediff 99% people only write without head and tail means nonsense and it is very easy to blame or abuse others, either government or person.
With more $500 billion of indians stashed in Swiss banks it seems like the money is re routed to India to show as legitimate income. Most of the indians working in Gulf are middle class and the rich from developed coutries hard ever want to come to India. May be one more scam is in the offing
Re: most of the remittance seems to be hawala transactions
by om shanti on Dec 08, 2010 11:24 AM
In hawala system, money is transferred via a network of hawala brokers, or hawaladars. A customer approaches a hawala broker in one city and gives a sum of money to be transferred to a recipient in another, usually foreign, city. The hawala broker calls another hawala broker in the recipient's city, gives disposition instructions of the funds (usually minus a small commission), and promises to settle the debt at a later date.
The unique feature of the system is that no promissory instruments are exchanged between the hawala brokers; the transaction takes place entirely on the honor system...the transfers are informal and not effectively regulated by governments...
Here in this article we are talking of inward bank remittance where there is a promisory instrument like the transaction swift message,it is not talking about Hawala dear friend.
I have seen one tendency in marathis that they are more interested in other work than their work why it this, this is not offend anyone but this is just a query

If I am good, the whole world is good...so stop worrying about others and develop your own balanced and unbiased personality, focus on your career and work for your growth.
The life is very short to waste time on criticizing others...

We have lot of idle brains in India which can do wonders,so there is not actually a drain here !
If some brains are going out, some other brains are getting the opportunity to develop....Take it that way !
We have more than a billion brains in the country and only may be 10% of it is in proper use...
It is just like if Dhoni or Tendulkar takes rest, another Yusuf or Gambhir gets a chance to play...no one is indispensible in the world..life moves on..
It shows the committment of all NREs,NRIs,PIOs towards their relatives back home and towards their motherland. Its a huge amount.
And,in India,it is so difficult to get a new passport as well.I knew of a friend who lost the opportunity to study in Singapore due to delay in receipt of passport as she could not get admitted at times.
Therefore,I feel ,government should have special passport cell for students,NREs to issue them passports in quick notice within 4-5 days.At the present, without taking help of a tout,no one can get a passport even after 5-6 months.
Further, government should give special privilidge of dual citizenship to NRIs and PIOs.
Last but not the least, goverment should honour all those who are remitting money to the country from abroad and thus bringing strengthening the economy and also reducing employment problem at home...it includes me..

Don't make such comments.
You NRI send money and your relatives here buy the foreign cars(by which the money again goes back to foreign) and build house, so your family becomes wealthier but not india.
Re: Re: Great achievement
by deepak on Dec 08, 2010 10:12 AM
@Nageswar- those foreign companies hire indians and those indians get paid and take care of thier family.... irrespective of how teh NRI relative spend the money, ur arguments r not worthi it....

you must be some skunk to reply this way....... as far as NRI remittance is considered, it is the same remittance which has made the indian economy stronger... all the indian products being exported are mostly consumed by indians NRI's living abroad like myself... when we work here and earn we need to spend on our daily needs and we buy most of the indian make stuff.. this way we send our money back to india and indian economy grows.. otherwise do you think the goras are interested in any of indian products... you and your kind of people can only tank and do nothing... wake up and try to contribute to the indian economy boss...
