I know what you mean.I fresh fish is seen in a Kerala fish market, somebody who is receiving remittance from gulf from his/her relative, will not worry to purchase the best fish at Rs. 700/kg.Whereas a local college lecturer will have to return home without buying any fish due to this inflation...same with real estate as well!

This type of inflation is localised and not generic and as every state is already suffering from fiscal deficit, this remittances will infact fill up voids or air-gaps in the economy...

Inward remittances

The statement is only the theory aspect. In practice the major two points do not take place. Education in private hands functions through donationised fund capital, hospitals are not approachable whether it is public or private. In Government hospitals, atthe lowest level itself greezingrequired and at the private five star hospitals, how much money to be collected from a prospective patient is the target set. Brain drain, in a democrary majority is the brain and opportunity is provided for a reserved candidate {qulification is not required for this}can sit at par with a District Collector and can decide the course of action to be taken and the educated person has to implement.

Thanks to our NRI's!
by Grizzly on Dec 11, 2010 12:54 PM

It is true that in times of need we can only rely on our people. Whether they live in India or abroad, our people help us by sending money to India.

Our govt needs to do more for NRI's. There are a lot of overseas Indians who want to invest in India but cant do that becoz of lack of proper protection of their money and assets.

There are so many cases of locals forcibly occupying NRI properties and then NRI's have to run to courts and police for getting their properties back.

If we want more NRI money to generate more jobs in India, we need to provide them with security of investment. If they want to open up industry in India, we should guarantee them corruption free process of opening businesses and generating employment for us locals. Otherwise, they will go and open the same factories and offices in china or Thailand.

That Chalguru is a PakistaniPig, simply posing as a Indian. He is in fact upset that his failed nationPornistan is nowhere in the list. No Pakis will remit their money back to their failed state for they know where their money will land up...where else, the terror companies and the stinking jihadis.

You are mad or what. The most hardworking in the universe is a construction worker. You are spoiling the status of a construction worker by comparing them with Raja. Without a construction worker you and me wont have our homes and offices
