Improvemnent in Bihar
by thanabalan ashirwatham on Dec 12, 2010 07:56 PM  | Hide replies

I am from Tamilnadu. I understand Lallu's Bihar and Nitesh' Bihar thru., media only. No personal experience. As on date, there are thousands of Biharis are working, mainly cheap labour in Chennai, Tirupur etc., If the Bihar improvement is real, these people will certainly go back to Bihar. This alone can be considered as a real INDEX for the improvement. Till then I dont believe the media stories, especially after the media scam.

Hey Thanabalan,

The world is not waiting for your approval of Bihar's economic progress.

Meanwhile, enjoy the loot of DMK from 2G scam while it lasts.

U r right. So many people had to leave bcos of Lalu and casteism. Real index will be if more people do not leave. Some people may go back. How many companies, Dams, bridges etc built by congress and its allies - extremely few. How many people working in alliance with congress and ally Lalu now crorepatis settled in delhi or other places - Lots.

If Nitesh ji is saying to convert that places has schools then the biggest school in india will be 10 , Janapath in Delhi after that state wide schools. Hope if this comes true then we can see at least 1000 schools in Tamilnadu , alone and 1500 in karnataka. Ok do not feel bad the south Indian are good they share Two PM's and bunch of central ministers alone. PVN and H Deva Gowda ! If you visit bangalore next time you can see many schools in IT hub.

Corruption in India
by Charvak Chanyakk on Dec 12, 2010 07:31 PM  | Hide replies

Since independance the corruption level has staedily increasing. Nehru had said, he will hang the corrupt people on the lamp posts. The lamp posts of Delhi and rest of India are still waiting to be used for this purpose. Let us see how many properties will be converted to schools in Bihar. If it will really happen, there will be 10 fold more schools than students.

Neelanjan Kumar
Flood control
by Neelanjan Kumar on Dec 10, 2010 02:15 PM

I was just following up Election Campaign of Nitish Kumar. In all election meetings there has been announcement for the priorities once
NDA is voted back to power:
1. Corruption
2. Electricity
3. PDS
All these above mentioned issues are very important and pertinent to the prevailing situation in Bihar. To my utter surprise in this priority list , there is no mention of Flood control. Almost half of Bihar is badly affected by flood . This devastation of flood is not once or twice in 5 years, but it is every year. Whole corps is destroyed , people become homeless, all those infrastructures or investments done by govt vanish in minutes, cattle is just carried away in flood. Resettlement and rehabilitation process starts, which takes time. As a result whole process of development derails, investments done by govt just wipes out.So there has to be a mechanism to control flood.Devastation of flood can be converted into opportunities.Dams & Hydel Power plants can be constructed.Employments can be generated. Chaneling of rivers can be thought up to irrigate draught affected areas. Then the question of resettlement & rehabilitation will not arise. Investments will not just be wasted. To make this a reality, central govt. has to be pressurised to have a treaty with Nepal govt on water sharing, dam construction In case central govt is not taking appropriate steps then questions have to be raised in Parliament, appeal can be done to President, PIL can be filed

RULE AGAINST CORRUPTION
by Shravan Sinha on Dec 08, 2010 01:46 PM

Bihar Govt. is going to set an example. It is necessary to make rule for seized the all properties / life term jail / Hang the corrupted officials either who is PM, CM, Ministers or whatever. It is a big challenge but at this state our Central Govt. is not taking any single step about it. It is a bad for India. I urge people to study the basic constitution and also study the basic law which will help to know the corruption. Present Congress govt. is looting the money of People of India. I am sure it is the burst situation. People need to come and road and punish the corrupted central / state ministers - there is no other way. Beacuase Central govt. is not interested to make tough rule like CHINE & other developed coutries.
