this past fact is fast becoming a myth . the world countries have realised the severe disadvantages of depending on a single country for its economy.

This not the only case with US. Even if recession hits India still the whole world will tumble as large range of products are imported and exported out of India. US is the biggest debtor to which China has lended money. US has returned inturn bonds to compensate. What would be the value of thes bonds if the economy itself tumbles???
Well.. Just dont look at only one side.. first see dirt on your back.. In US, most of the punjabis, gujjus are staying illegals... One singer group comes to US and illegaly stays here and so on, for the matter of fact. Tell me , how many Indian companies are doing business ethically? They are really a body shop companies. Infosys and the other companies are big body shops. What ever India exports are only third class educated guys to US. You should be thankful to US for making most of the middle class families very colorful and independent. If the same thing happens in India (americans come and take away job) then there will be a riot by gundaas like r.a.j. t.h.a.c.ker. and co...
When you come to US , you will know how americans treating you guys with respect and honor. It is not just because we are little educated but they do the same with every human being.
And Immigration is not republican or democrat issue but rateher nation's issue. We have to respect other conutries policeis, rules and regulations. Dont just come to conlusion when it affects you. SOmetime you have to accept the truth and move on. Lets try to learn few things and blame others. Cheers and be proud indian.

Did Infosys and TCS tell you that they are product development companies like Oracle, Microsoft or blah blah.
Everyone knows, they are service oriented companies, who train the resources meeting the expectations of western IT companies. They also do body shopping. The only advantage with these companies over start up body shop comapnies, they are accoutable and follows certain CMM guidelines.....
Its your false perception about Infosys and TCS based on Indian media prejudiced presentation or lack of understanding about those companies. Infosys and TCS are more or less body shop companies to give professional training meeting the requirements of clients....

If we work in MNC and then in indian IT companies, that would be the feeling. Indian IT gaints in service sector are growing and that takes time to catch up western world. This may take some time to get some professionalism in indian IT gaint companies.
HR Policies in Indian IT Comapines can be improved if America and Europe forces 60 of work force to be non-indians abroad. I mean, if Infosys is operating in US, 60% of employees and 90 % of HR, Accounts department should be US american citizens only till these companies learn professionalism.

You could be 100% right. But most people wont speak bcos of the bucks. Only if they are in a Govt job, then they will brag about all this and go on strike. Its money that is speaking often. In fact they even make u work at nights in many IT companies as u said.

Recession is expected . American market is a market economy. As long as there is demand, it can accept that much supply of goods and services. When there is no demand, the supply accumulated in market has to be got rid off or reduced keeping in mind their citizens are protected first.
What America is doing is right. As Indian IT market is too much dependent on US market, we feel we are effected.
They are in recession and wants to generate more income. India needs more visas. Nothing wrong for America to raise fees. That reduces number of people as supply into their market at the same time generates more income on limited supply.
