we are rich because of inheritance of our culture, same thing with china. inheritance gives us valuable social system it is not one experiment and we get it. see on onam a festival of kerala, even the poorest of poor, dresses well and feeds some body, a show of the generosity in our culture, we can also do it. jane kahen gaye wo log? (where those nobles are lost, we miss them)we have lost our greatness. many rich family have vanished, if no proper care was taken to keep the values of life, of the system. it depends on user and his wisdom. it and also freedom lost by force. see Afghanistan, it was the onslaught of invasion.
it is no fun to see poor suffer, when we enjoy, in our home. it is we who have failed, as we did not act responsibly, what govt does is what we have chosen them to do? to occupy and lead the nation. lead their destiny. by accusing, we lead no where. what is best is administered best " alexinder pope poem" at the present what we see, is the weeds have benefited most, the poor as poor as ever.
when we think to elevate people below poverty level, it is a noble way to do so by giving subsidized food, to ease there suffering. let us not talk about their bad habits, may be one of the reason to be in the terrible situations. as the suffer is not a single person, but his bad habit, the dependents who unnecessarily also sufferer because of them,
the grey area is why subsidized petrol, the petrol the diesel, which is mostly utilized used by affluent, they can do without it as well, as they can choose many cars, as they can afford it, and have more control of funds with them, here the government is more responsible, in deciding in development of capital infrastructure projects. which give relief to rich and poor equally, that is mass transportation, at reasonable price, china worked on these lines. and change set in.
Congratulation to UPA govt.Vajpayee was able to reduce poverty to a level of 26%.BUt you are able to make it 37%.To get the vote of gareeb,gareeb must be more and congress is able to do that.garibo ka hath congress ke sath.

vajaypee and his cabinet ministers were just a bunch of "jokers" ... atleast with congress ministers , they argue with each other on policy matters and not on some historical villans like jinnah and veerkar .. so lets not even speak of NDA`s so-called goverance

doesn't matter what you talk, matters what you do ?. I see it this way. Sometime before govenment increased the price of petrol fare enough, it made a huge impact on society and price went high like anything. Suddenly they reduced the price, did the price went down? no. And now again there is a price rise and again it has resulted in price rise of essential commodity. So under which policy of government this act have taken place ? Though there is no need to rise the price of petrol as per international price of petrol.
Its very easy to blame govt. But can few hundred currupt and lezy govt officers remove povert ? Isn't it waste of time to hope that. Yes what will help is privatisation n globalisation. the mantra that has worked for all rich country. Even communist china is following that. you produce better product or services and sell it. How much u make depend on your hard work, talent. Rich people are investing their money by opening ventures. that creat jobs. But people have to become entrepreneur themselves also. America 50% of people work in small business. Most important thing is training villagers on job skills. we should help open high tech library, schools on those area with audio-video learning facility. It make learning easy. U can see any interest of your video on youtube and learn. Technology is making our life easier. but indian poor are still sleeping. we all have to unite and work together in helping them.

i thank visionary, at the cost and best of carrier option still choose to work, for NGO. while the options for them are many and most of them benefits them but not, for whom they focus at to help. hats off to them. ek chana bhaade nahi jhonk sakta (one can not change the system)still they do and are not demoralized.
Population Explosion is the main cause of poverty in india. no matter how rich or how poor one is..its a social responsibility of each and every one to follow the principle of either one kid or no kids at all. at this rate indias population is expected to double by 2030.

i do not advocate, more kids, i see the change in china, the pinch has started being felt, with the development of more infrastructure, shortages, that is what is felt also by highly developed. today in a cctv program in china the discussion is one child policy correct or wrong, how govt is responsible to proactive roll in it, either to control or open it? their openness, a change, and experience teaches them our experience is different? first is to control population first till we have sufficient infrastructure to sustain it, we are also afraid, of our country to get into trap into two nation theory again.
see narayan murthi, see bill gates, see tatas, in which way and how many, and how much, there should be a limca record if not guiness record. chaap tilak sab deena, naina ladike, e garib niwaz, i have nothing left all, that i had, i have given to thee.
there is also some responsibility of rich class, to return back to the the society, in some form or others, adopt a poor child, give education love,show them the honest way, and a hard way to success, no short cuts, do not treat them as ur servant. the real prayer to god is service to poor. no need to go to church,masjid,temple, it is in daridra narayan (god in poor mens heart)
poor people are vote bank, they vote to politicians hoping they will win that days bread. these poor people are there, as they can bring comforts, to much richer then them, in their life style, politicians give them the rights of of the ownership of government land, of their hard saved money in jhuggi zhopdi, to live in them. miracle shall come not in one stroke of magic wand, but in multiple stages. no body can save these poor, till they have will, and will power, to achieve there dreams. they need soft care and a personality like selfless leaders , acarya vinoba bhave , mahatma Gandhi , anna hazare, MGR.
if we compare, china with india, there was hardly any difference, amongst them in 1980s, comparing poverty, but the political difference of course, slowly, the changes took place in the same political, system. country withdrew, from govt enterprise, and limited to few areas, military, police, judiciary, law and order. in china there is no respect for criminals, but in india the criminals retain the respectability, irrespective to the nature of crime small and big. in china the criminals address their crime singularly, none approach them, try save them. the biggest difference. so as per our mythology says. in india to save one innocent, 100 doubtful, though involved are let free. these 100 are immune to law and order. this must be rethought, reconsider, a rape victim opts and agree, then the accused is free from rape a crime? the government owns infra structure, and natural resources, here we are fragmented, Mysore and Tamilnadu, lalu says as a cheif minister, if a drop of water goes to south, then there will be fire? Maharashtra for Marathi, there should be a iron hand as for some time during emergency the fear brought, and Delhi changed into modern city? and free flow of regulated foreign direct investment. then we can see changes in our life
