"Already Jammed" roads aren't jammed by Nano. Why don't you ask them to free up.
Those who can afford a car costlier than Nano are Rich & they normally own more than one vehicle or atleast one vehicle for each family member. You want them to keep & restrict 4 family members to ride a small Nano? How selfish you are.

what crap ??
it's nothing like only you have the right to drive on the roads...

every earning man pays tax, and thus contributes to the maintenance of infrastructure, so road is evryones.

Don't condemn this beautiful Nano, just b'cos it is cheap and meant for common man. And it is very rude of you to talk abt nano reducing population, how can u be sooo ruthless, why nano ???? accidents can happen in any damn car... even the one you drive buddy !

Its simple. Some jealous people like you won't be able to see poor people(compare to them) also driving a car. For you owning a car won't remain as big a status symbol as it used to be. Right?

The DARK SIDE

I know every one is happy with Nano BUT !!!!!! Mr.Tata knows very well what CO2 emissions are causing to the world right now .. Yes he knows it much better than us because he is much more intelligent than us. SO why is he pumping India with more CO2 emissions????? I know for a layman CO2 emissions means nothing but definitly not to Mr.Tata. He knows how bad it is for our future generations and pumping a cheap car into Indian roads in the name of the poor will only have bad prognosis in the end ... So why is he doing this???? for the poor or for more money?????????? Please somebody as Mr.Tata this .. What is he doing to make sure that the co2 levels and ozone holes does not increase?? hmmm food for thought... whats your opinion??

"alpha" CO2 emissions is not the problem of TATA...if our corrupt government upgrade our existing public transportation to better then we can solve the problem of all the CO2 issues...

FYI NANO emission is very less compared to the two wheeler bikes in India...so Nano will reduce the Emission by 50% since four can ride a single Nano car...we need two bikes to ferry four passengers…

I am glad that you guys are responding. but the bottom line is that TATAs are not buying your 2 stroke bikes and giving you nano. You now have both 2 stroke scooters and Nanos polluting the world. As far as othe car manufacturers are concerned all over the developed countries car manufactureres are now being forced to cut down the co2 emissions and that too in a very big scale. G8 countries have demanded India and China to cut down on CO2 levels. Problem is that in India people are very little aware of the real problems. I am not rich and I dont drive a car. I have only a bike.

Tata-A true Indian
by ravisankar malladi on Mar 23, 2009 06:28 PM  Permalink

Tata Group exhibit its social responsibility and commitment towards this country right from its inception. I would say it is a true Indian company. That is why even though the recessionary conditions are prevalent in the country, it is going ahead with launching peoples car. India should be proud of Ratan Tata and the Tata GroupMEMBERS

PROUD OF TATAS
by karthick arasu on Mar 23, 2009 06:21 PM  Permalink

Dear Fellow country mens,

I am very proud of tata's they have achived this feat crossing many hurdels, Have all forgot what response when cellular phone got introduced in to the market, many thought cell phones are luxury products but just imagine now cell phone has reached even for a common man, days are not so far that even keeping cars in homes will be a ordinary thing, this is a just ground breaking ceromony for that, technology gets sucess only if it reaches the common man, now I may not have money to buy nano but one day will become proud owner of a Indian (TATA/mahindra) car owner, jaihind

Congrats
by Magical Creations on Mar 23, 2009 06:16 PM  Permalink

Congrats Tata!
At the same time I still don't understand why is so much buzz around as for 1.5 lakh you can always buy a second hand high end cars which will definitely perform better than the nano.
The only difference would be new and second hand.
Also remember this is not just 1 lakh but it is going to cost you around 1.5 lakh to have a AC fitted Nano.
So chill down guys and let it roll down on road first and than we can see the actual performance of Nano.
All the best for Nano

by Javed Khan on Mar 23, 2009 06:08 PM  Permalink

Mr. Ratan Tata your Nano is too late for India. Already Indian roads and flooded with cars and with this cheap highly publicised car, traffice situation is going to be more grim now. But hats off to your achievment, you are better than Ambanis in every sense.
