no re I am golti from vijayawada, I leanrd java nicely also and came to US with 1 consultancy name is jaffa consultancy because my relatives also came to US na my marriage with 1 girl will be with more dowry if I come to US like 1 crores, now I need green card else market for dowry will be like stock market so please help

so i have'nt understood what is the problem, if you get less dowry, you already have made enough money with 150 USD /hr for java. Fool do you know telugites (you may call gulti) never marry US citizens, you give contradictory statements you want dowry and want to marry us citizens. It is surprising to see such a backlash and prominent discussion about H1b VISA holders. I do not see any evaluation of the most abused category of VISA and that is L1. Compare this, H1B - only 65000 available per year. L1 - no limits. Last year alone more than 300000 L1 VISA issued. Most of these L1 VISAs cornered by Indian companies to supply cheap manpower. I do not hear anything about L1 VISA in American media. It looks like companies like TCS, Satyam et al have a dislike for H1B because H1B gives power in the hands of VISA holder to change the job if he/she likes....the luxury not available with L1 as it is consider intra company transfer. These L1 VISA holders outnumber H1B guys by at least 3 to 1 in corporate set ups where TCS and others provide 'Consulting" services. The reason TCS and others do not talk about L1 is understandable....they pay a dirt to guys coming on L1 even in US while extracting healthy chunk of money from Americans and get away with it. This is similar to Chinese labor import during 1940s in America. Sometimes these companies like TCS offer 1 resource fee on 4 resources hired...they go to this extent. No wonder some American corporates do not worry because of bottom line savings. The concern for H1B is, this VISA is transferrable and Indian companies who are slvery minded are not able to digest this concept of giving power of choosing employer by an employee. No wonder nobody writes about abuses in L1 VISA category. USCIS is also looking other way

With H1 employer has minimum control over employee. I have seen so many indian companies treat employees as if slave . Like work 24X7 else get branded as non performer. Another problem here is PMs always try to have a control over subordinates rather than working with them. Typical Indian hierarchical mentality
Vision Systems is one among the many, there are lots of other bullshit companies they will go in to vain soon. American companies are always better than India companies, these small Indian IT companies in US sucks the blood of own people to make money. there are lots of other companies in pipe line for IRS.

Lets not generalise. I came to the US in 98 through a small Indian shop. They treated me with utmost respect and paid competing salary. I was able to get GC through them within 3 years. I have seen other friends and peers who have had it better or worse. I know a small percentage of H1s are abused and enslaved. It is not that easy to jump jobs when you are on H1B, especially if your GC is in process. If you do the math, over the last 10 years, less than a million people came to us on H1B. Even if 60% of them are Indians, thats 600000 over 10 years. If you consider that 20% returned home and another 20% got GC or Citizenship, then, the remaining H1B force from India is about 300000 thousand. Most of these are well documented legal tax paying folks. I think US has bigger problems like illegal migrants from south (35 million on last count) and other visa categories like L1 that they should be more worried about. However, H1B has become the poster child and right now, everyone is bashing just this one category. How pathetic!

i thought we were ruled till 47 only..there still are indian folks who believe americans are superior to us....well i work in US and i know for sure that americans regard indian guys as the best in business. if we are good then why cant indian companies be grt....well people still wipe goras whatever...u btw sound like someone whose forefathers survived by saying "Jai Ho" to mughals and brits....

U r right Sampath. There are also some very good companies.I work for a small company , i never had an issue with him.He do things all legally , i dont want to leave him.
Most of the companies have to realize and stop bribing, then only americans will respect us.

The other day, an AP girl carried her CPU from 3rd floor to 18th floor. Do you wanna know why ? It was cos her lead told her to share a folder on her PC and she didnt know what that meant !!!! I am ROFL now.

U guys are nuts man , Whole world know that Telugu people are most talented in IT.U better talk abot ur self.I Have stayed with lot of guys from north.They cant speak english and ALL THE STUFF. they got the gallon milk from walmart and share equally by measuring it .They start fight if any body use other guys milk.What u say about this Huh.They keep premises dirty , they live dirty and they are dirty.

Not only people from andhra, people from rest of the india are doing the same ,they are no different , why is every one targetting andhra people may be there are leading the race but every other indian is doing this kind of things...
1)i know 2 north indian TCS guys who rented couch,dressing table,bed, dinning table whn they came to US ,they sold those items when they are leaving actually they are supposed to return them back to the renting agency.. 2)i know from north guy who got a matress from trash.
there may be some people who do this kind of stuff, do blame each and every oone from andhra
i do agree some andhra people put fake resume, impersonate interviews, fake degree's not every one does that.few people acts cannot be the index of rest of the andhra people. arn't the other people from other states putting fake resume's.
it grants citizenship by birth. now my kids r americans. ha ha. so we make sure that even if we r kicked out by curbs on H1B, our kids will milk the US of A. lol
