Bad Media Coverage
by tanmay puranik on Jan 10, 2009 02:04 AM  | Hide replies

Rediff and all other media persons are writing BASELESS stories and dampening Satyam's image.
I hope media becomes mature enough and stop acting like a fool by writing stories without any proofs.

Angry with Raju - you hypocrite
by Friendly OBC on Jan 10, 2009 02:03 AM  | Hide replies

Why doesn't your blood boil when Mayaveti sucks out cash from our brethren? Is incessant anger reserved only for corporate honchos.

I am not defending anyone, however, Raju has successfully created a global enterprise. Why don't the smart ones in 53000 Satyamites take cue and start something that takes India forward. It could be better than spitting in anger.

Vamsi I support you....When Infy itself have no work to give there employees ...How it can absorb Satyam employees....

I support Satyam employees....There chairman may be a fraud....but employees are Gems ...The talent pool is very great in them...If they wish they can Join hands to start their own IT company by contributing each one some amount and take back the control ....It is employee ruling IT company,,,,,,But all they need have trust...They can have union or trust....to move forward in future...

Well wisher of employee community...

Why do small investors enter the stock market?
by subramanyasastry hoskote on Jan 10, 2009 12:54 AM  | Hide replies

I never invested in a stock till I was comfortable even if I loose the money. My father always kept his money - whatever little - only in a public sector bank. I am sure many people will abuse me. But the fact remains that those of us who invest in stocks when we cannot afford to loose the investment are as greedy as the ex-chairman of the satyam. Only the stakes were high. I WILL RESPECT HIM AS MUCH AS I DID BEFORE THE REVEALATIONS SO LONG AS THERE IS NO DIVERSION OF FUNDS TO HIS PERSONAL ACCOUNT. Just recall that most of were against the maytas deal because we felt that satyam's reserves were being diverted into his personal assests. We never knew the truth. He appears to have done what most other corporated could be doing. He failed and we are all egging for his head.

they should quickly and immediately check all those involved
by readers view on Jan 10, 2009 12:41 AM Permalink | Hide replies

they should not wait and immediately they should also check the auditors concern and high officials concern, these two people, main person and his brother should be kept away from anyone trying to pass or extract information from them and they will try to wipe out all evidences then. cm pm and bse nse officials together should be strict with this if not then they also are involved in this scam, it may be the CM or PM or FM or even BSE NSE officials all should support quick investigating..... all investors should be after this. readers put your view on these things now and not just jabber nonsence. those involved should be publicly punished in shame, only then others who are into this will inprove or correct themself. your view now??

dont be lazy and dont depend on our courts in india they will try all tricks to help them

One more Truth
by Rajesh Thakkar on Jan 10, 2009 12:19 AM  | Hide replies

Satyam means truth eternal.
I dont support Raju, I never will, for what-ever he did, but, in the end, he, himself, spoke the truth, a truth that "Satyam" means. Atleast, he had the guts to speak and admit his wrong deed. He could have run quietly and some doctor could have done his face-makeover. Or he could have ended his life quietly. But, he admit his wrong deeds, and it takes tons of guts to do so.
How many of us have the guts to speak truth, even in our daily life?
I feel that some IT company should come forward and take the management (instead of Govt's appointed; they will further ask for their pie), so that the life of Satyam's employees should not be hanged.
THINK... more than 90% of employees must be having loans...in next few months, they all be go in bad debt, if they go employed. And Its going to be a huge "laat" (leg) on recession to be deepen.

Raju didn't have any guts. With institutional pressure coming after the failed Maytas deal, merger, buyback, probably pressure from rest of the management, he had no other option, but to speak up before the whistle is blowed by someone else.
