This is a stupid gimmick. Another hoax like "Simputer". This device has no display, no keyboard and needs to be connected to a PC/laptop for working. has anybody seen its photo, specifications.
Few years ago one Indian scientist claimed that he had extracted oil from water. Indians are good at making sensational news. How many Indiana products are internationaly recognised? The reality is Indians are average brains with big egos. The future is bleak.

Since its launched in temple, Only God can help it. 2GB memory? which memory it is, since any form of memory commerically costing more then $10, Ohh wait a minute may they are using paper memory which again invented by IIS guys.

hey crap, that laptop will run on linux OS. i think the designers of that laptop are way better than u think! thts y they kept open the option for upgradation of components.
It has been more than 7 years that one first heard about the 'Simputer' developed by IISc scientists...couldn't reach the market till now. Don't know how long this revolutionizing laptop is made available to the consumer!

FYI : The Simputer is already being successfully used across the country for traffic management by the Traffic Police. And its been in use from the past 4 years.
Get your facts in place before criticising innovative and cost-effective products.
