Paris does not the population as Delhi has. Moreover it is the climatic condition too that determines the consumption. Else let us both visit Paris at your expense to prove me wrong.

Rediff as usual

It seems Rediff journalists are all pseudo journalists . From their film reviewer to people who write on social / people related issues, one word rules. The word is "MEDIOCRITY"

water guzzlers?
by ashok leyland on Jan 06, 2010 07:33 PM

What's Paris's population and Delhi's?
How many Delhiites have washing machines, dishwashers, running hot and cold water, flushing toilets and bidets, bath tubs and cars?
A little common sense for God's sake!
We all know government quarters and govt buildings waste water. Why do articles written by ignorant asses posing as journalists find their way on the media while people who do real studies cannot publish their work?
Politics.

Delhi

I do not exactly agrees to the term water guzzlers. However I would have agreed to them being careless in using water.

Delhi-ites are very casual when it comes to caring about the amenities provided to them. Afterall free things are always cheap.

Be it Telengana or Jharkhand

be it Telengana or Jharkhand, when it comes to splitting society , popularizing a controversy or cheap news , rediff beats every one in the news.

Delhi people guzzle more water ? It bloody puts a question mark on the scientific research that a person living in Delhi drinks more water than a person lives in Kolkata or Mumbai.

Or is it that Delhi people wash their cloths twice a day ? Or take shower three times a day ?

or is it that they wash their cars and water their lawns multiple times a day ?

What kind of a crap is this ?

This is what happens when a cheap web portal lets it's school dropuout correspondents on unsuspecting readers.

I wonder
by rtyx on Dec 26, 2009 09:20 AM

I wonder why rediff chooses regional path to increase it's readership. Does the moron who wrote this article know that Delhi's population is more than Mumbai or Kolkata or Chennai ? I mean there are enough people in Gurgaon and Noida to put switzerland to shame.

1500 crore
by dharmendra jadoun on Dec 25, 2009 11:22 PM

Out if Rs 1500 crore of Govt budget/expense Rs 1000 crore land directly into pocket of DJB authorities.

Plus many crore are collected from public by bribes and supplying water privately.

If you are in place of DJB authorities What you will do ?
- will you try to manage water supply supply or
- will you spend time earning and managing , investing that Rs 1000 crore in pocket ?
