recycling.. whats that. In India its the God's blessings that gives rain, flora and fauna. We dont need to do anything. It just happens. As for borrowing the developed nations dont tell these clueless retards. these incompetent people would even get that wrong and end up making everything completely dry. while they would continue to have bath in mineral water..the people continue to die of droughts

It is sorry
by abcd efg on Dec 21, 2009 08:42 PM

that this story comes in business section and when rampant exploitation for business gains was going on for last few years, nobody paid attention to the serious crisis while selfishly enjoying fake wealth at the cost of destroying the gifts of Nature. As a result, today's urban centres have turned to living hells with no quality of life irrespective of business. Today, the only criteria is not man power nor connectivity nor any other factor but availability of water for any new settlement or unit.
Hopefully, people will awake to this responsibility and maintain balance between wealth creation and preserving natural resources for real growth of India. If we live, we can do lot of work.

save mh from north indians
by jadhav on Dec 21, 2009 08:39 PM  | Hide replies

Save maharashtra from dinosaurs of north. after occupying mumbai, pune, nashik, nagpur, huge north indians have started migrating to other ciities like kolhapur, ratnagiri. why we neeed pune-patna, kolhapur-patna, kolhapur-dhanbad trains. can these marathis think about the imminent dangers from north indian dragon. unfortunately, marathis have not yet understood this danger except raj thakare are are engaged only in nationalsim and hinduism. north indians will finish of existence of maharahstra /marathis telling the world that it is internal arrangment within india. and we are doing everything constitutionally/legally binding the hands of marathis or suppressing their voice. their population is 1 crore now. and population explosion have takne place in up/bihar, marathis will also explode in their population in mh. so marathi leaders must think about this seriously or else your will loose all your current political portfolio in the years to come in mh. mh needs a politicians like karunanidhi, naidu. several courts have isused warrnats againt raj thakre. if these courts, lawyers, judges in up/bihar has so much power, why cant the issue arrest warrants agaisnt moists/ulfa, lashakr terrorist. why cant they protect indian borders from terrorists. delhi is also metro. there are not more than 1 lakh marthis. nobody will oppose this kind fo migration but there is exodus of people from north indo mh. which will wipe out existence of marathis in their own soil.

Water Crisis
by Harjindarpal Singh on Dec 21, 2009 04:17 PM

We all Indians are responsible for our present plight which is going to become a major issue for survival. We are madly drawing the underwater resources while doing nothing towards artificial recharging of the aquifers, due to huge urbanisation lot of virgin land is paved to concrete thus shrinking the land from natural rain water harvesting. We spend lacs and crores for building our home but when it comes adopting rainwater harvesting at the cost of say half a lac we turn miser , well if things continue to be like this the day is not far when we shall get quotas of drinking water bottles and forget about your daily luxury of having a jacuzi bath.

it is not "we all indians" that is responsible. It is the politicians who blatantly allow conversion of water bodies like lakes, rivers, etc into buildings. And then they make business out of selling bottled waters.

In india, the best way to become a business-man is to become a politician.

Politics is business.
