such a bad idea. It is disastrous to not allow rivers to reach the ocean. there are umpteen bad effects like salination etc when rivers are prevented from reaching the sea

what bad effects from salination of water? It is alright for rivers to run polluted, but it is not alright for rivers to provide water to the consumers.
There is no reason for crying about water scarcity, make huge sea water de-salination plants all over India's coastal areas, for that bring back all the illegal money deposited in SKNAB SSIWS.

Perfectly said. The coastal line of desalination plants will ensure constant water supply. In this age of technology it is just foolish to see coastal places like Mumbai crying. Also there are certain regions in country which have excess water causing floods. For example entire north Bihar is ruined by flood water for 6 months in year. If government can plan properly, this annual loss can be averted. This entire land is he most fertile land of world which gets wasted by flood water, causing migration also. Central government should form interconnected tunnels in those regions to seive out excess water which can finish the draught condition in south of Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhyapradesh as well as chattisgarh...so much excess water is wasted there in flood! This way flood will be averted, most fertile land will be available for agriculture, solving migration and employment problem, enhacing agriculture yield of country and pulling down the constant rise of price, and for sure avert drought in many regions of this nation with ensured water supply.

Your observations are quite valid. That is the problem. A project report shall be prepared and finally approved. Money alloted shall be pocketed and deposited in swiss bank by the Netaji.
Brick and Mortar Story : No substance in Realty Boom and it is mere bubble ticking like a bomb to burst anytime leaving all property investers in pain and feel cheated.
Rs.25000/- per month for a family of 4 members in Tier II cities means person just meeting hands to mouth situation. If the question is how and why :
Rs. 6000 p.m min. on house rent for 2BHK Rs. 6000 p.m min. for house hold grocery items Rs. 4000 pm for School fees for 2 children. Rs. 1000 p.m min for milk Rs. 1000 p.m min for petrol expenses Rs. 1500 p.m min electricity and water charges Rs. 1000 p.m wedding and social functions. Rs. 1000 pm. for mobile and phone expenses. Rs. 500 pm for internet expenses Rs. 3000 pm for sundry & misc expenses incl medicine.
In such circumstances, if one takes a housing loan of 20 lacs to purchase two BHK shabby type house in Tier II cities with an EMI for 20 years, that means he is calling hell on him and will mortgage his entire life in paying EMI only. No wonder, such persons are even daring to purchase Car on loan which after some time is pulled and towed away by goondas sent by ICICI Bank , HDFC Bank or other private banks
Blockbuster Movie : Builders & Realty Brokers Nexus ( BRBN)
Mind it we are not talking about people earning Rs.5000 per month and such people are in majority cutting across geographical lines divided into tier cities.

Admittedly unbridled growth of population is the root cause. But what is aggravating the situation is abysmal governance. Take the example of Delhi. Where is the need to have the Headquarters of Food Corporation, Warehousing corporation and a host of other offices headquartered in Delhi. In this era of communication, why not move these offices to towns like Agra, Panipat, Ambala, Aligarh, Kanpur, Mathura etc. Not only will Delhi be de-congested but it will also help developing these towns, create jobs and opportunities for people in the hinterland and stall the influx into Delhi. This is plain commonsense but I wonder why no initiative is taken towards this end. I think it is our misfortune to have myopic political leaders and bureaucrats.

dumbo ..at this rate, india's population is expected to touch 200 crores by 2060 ..you think all problesm will be solved by just proper governance ....use ur brain, u dumbass..
If at all there is any city which is very very comfortable in respect of water and electricity it is Ahmedabad in the entire country. The city will be fully covered with drinking water supplied from Narmada river in a couple of years. The authorities are getting the bore wells closed which will go a long way in replinishment of ground water table which again is a problem in other Metros. The Modi Government is doing a wonderful job in providing infrastructure in cities there.Gujarath state is a role model for other states...there is nothing wrong if good things are taken and followed.

Yes. Modi is a great administrator. He is a suitable person to become Prime Minister. We can see the growth in Gujarat througout India.
