Let us first learn to make good, simple roads, airports that do not leak, flyovers that do not collapse. Then dream of other things to avoid becoming fools in the eyes of others.
India has just become a USD 1 Trillion while that of the US is USD 14 Trillion and Japan 5 Trillion and China 4 Trillion.
India is growing at an average rate of 7-8% maximum. So even at a Compounded rate of 7-8% Indian GDP will just cross USD 2 Trillion after 10 years.
Russian economy is galloping!
Brazil is ahead of India already and has vast potential than India to grow at a more brisk rate.
Forget about China!
With the kind of strong political system they have and with no internal turmoils and zero external threats Chinese will grow at a more briskier rate than India purely because now not only their domestic appetite but due to their military might they will capture more markets for their goods in Asia and also Europe.
The only threat the Chinese faced ever was the West sponsored Tiananmen Square democratic protests to bring democracy to China which will slow down the economic and military progress as democratic India is facing. But the Chinese then brutally mowed down that threat.
Now even the Islamic threat in Xinkiang province also mowed down ruthlessly recently.
China will not touch Taiwan in the next 5 years because China doesnt want to ruin its apple.
After 5 years Chinese Military might will that huge and no nation can confront them and Taiwan will be swallowed without a bullet being fired.
With Taiwan joining the might of China, China will stand face to face the USA in a decades time.
Whom do we fool? We are unable to make own LCA, Car( even for the great Nano, Fiat has had to provide engine technology so that it can be on ROAD).People at the head are like square peg in round holes.

Powerless India will be a world power provided india is untouched by China-Paki-bangladesh-etc
why these so called intellectuals are making wrong propaganda that india will super power. can they define what is super power? it is not just possible to become super power with 2% world's land and 20% population. due to scarcity of water, food, electricity, land, huge population, coupled with rampant corruption, it is not posible to even survie let alone beocme super power?

It's a typical capitalist mentality who is trying to keep hopes in their employees or common-man... basically he wants his company to grow.. for that people shud believe in in his company.. creating publicity to do more business... again fooling common man by playing on their emotions...

Agreed.We have NOT progressed even by an inch since 1947.Our problems have multiplied with increas in population year after year.Most of our leaders are looting and depositing in Banks outside India, while fooling the masses by telling load of lies.To sense the temperature you dont need a thermometer, likewise, we don't need some one to predict the future status.We see the reality and is infront of us.We need dedicated and selfless leaders who can lead us to prosperity with hard and honest effort.Till then, we cannot even be thinking of gaining the super power status even in cartoons. ha ha ha...lol this is a common man's humor which keeps one alive instead of all the discouraging factors...
here r few things.. u decide what can heppen..? 1)poor peole r becoming more poor and rich people are become richer ... 2) talented people are forced to compete with non-talented on the name of reservation. 3)business men and politicians looting common man's hard earned money. 4) and curent Govt practices encourages lazy people to become more lazy.. anything which u get free makes people lazy... 5) No ethics in Media.. they just want to catch the people's attntion.. want to make more money.. ready to do anything... 6) religion extremism/ terrorism...
with all these problems... everyone is sure what can india achive in 10 years..

Which business man is not looting common man's money?
1. Just look at the NPAs of public sector banks. Who are these NPA companies? PSUs? NO! They are all private sector companies. These companies promoters still drive in Mercs and enjoy bunglows bought through their company's funds and settle bank NPA for one time settlement of 5-10% of the principal with interest being completely waived off. Whos money is that 90% principal and interest lost? It is publics money stored in a bank.
2. YOu have seen the private sector banks status also. Global Trust Bank's failure, and the impending ICICI Bank with the Finance Minister himself confirming that RBI had warned ICICI atleast twice.
3. CHeck all the registrations of Merc and BMWs in the country. 90% of them are not in individuals names but in the Compnaies names. But these non productive assets are used by the businessmen/promotors of these private sector companies but funded by those companies who inturn borrowed money from public sector banks.
4. Check the passports of these businessmen for the VISA stamps on the holidays they had undertaken. Check the periods for which they were in Europe in summers. As per the RBI you cant take more than a certain sum in foreign exchange. How come these blokes survive for months on vacations is Switzerland etc without black money siphoned off from the Country? What is this money? It is money borrowed from banks and shareholders money being used for personal uses
unless: 1. All the ministers houses are raided, and they come clean. 2. All income tax officers houses are raided. 3. All police officers houses are raided. 4. All the corrupt are brought to justice. 5. Judges are asked to make sure courts are not breeding ground for corruption and inefficiency.
What is the common thread among the above? All our govt. servants.
