If there is going to be a doomsday on this globe, India will be the first to see that....Our corrupt/criminal political leaders and the mock judiciary is at full throttle in that direction. More than nearly 35,000 crores of Rupees is hidden in Swiss bank accounts, the country's resources being sucked by the corrupt system. If we could get all that money into the treasury, the value of US dollar would decline to Rs15. But that will never happen. Instead our secret tempolate for the Indian currency is being leaked out by our own people. Our culture/traditions are being flushed down the sewage drain by our own leaders (Example: Half naked belly dancers imported from Russia performing for Janmashtami celebrations organised by NCP party leaders in Mumbai). Our armed forces are provided with junk and dud ammunition purchased via under the table dealings from 3rd world countries. Super power India ??? HUH ??? A day is not very far when India will have to kneel down to beg the neighboring countries for its own mere existence on the world map.
We Indian attitude is such we rather meditate ( applying inherited Hindu traits) if any pain is encountered while serving THE BIG USA like a slave and considering as our economy drivers. We spend hefty amount on procuring war items. India would be powerful only if we have economy triggers serving/helping growth in Indian Zone. I think it is difficult to predict the and to say aloud we HAVE the POWER. Presently we are like house building workers to the owner and the big boss USA.

No just the population will help, otherwise, Pakistan should be a top destination for multi-nationals!!!
Population that can pay for what they buy is needed!!
every so often some di.ckhead comes and gives long tales about india becoming a superpower...
one thing I have seen is certain...indians will immigrate to any country ..even somalia and make that country a superpower.... but india itself? its destined for failure..a train wreck heading for a big CRASH very soon
who let this sex maniac give interviews anyways...isnt he supposed to be in a jail somewhere?
and illiterate of the world will be in India. That's the problem to tackle not being whether India will become 3rd largest economy or 2nd largest military, etc.

If someone thinks India in the Next 20 years would be the Third Largest Economy, must be doing so to gain Cheap Popularity. It is the Largest Illiterate country (more than 750 mil) in the world, and has one of the worst Corruption Levels anyone can imagine. It has a Spineless and Beimaan PM. And the way BJP is behaving, looks like a Dynasty Rule is inevitable. It's a doomed situation, as this NoProgress party will rule India as an One Party System, unless some dramatic changes take place.

India can be economic power only if we remove andcorruption from system of governance.India can be super power if Land prices and real estate prices are real prices not artificially scare created by builders lobby, which pays fortune for creating scarcity by all corrupt means with hand and gloves with corrupt politicians and beaurocracy. If we remove protection given under constitution to these corrupt politicians from procecution by law enforcement agencies. If people are treated equal before law of this nation in reality India can be super power in less then ten years.
