What do you you say about great economist trio, Manmohan Singh, Chidambaram and Montek Singh Aluwaliah who were supposed to usher India to a great future. Even 3 months ago they were shouting that GDP will grow to 8-9% when today RBI declared it to be around 6% for 08-09.The only beneficiary are govt and PSU employees whose salary are raised through roof and politicians anticipating such high growth forever when crores of people having no job and salary cut.Are they economists or political jokers? Let us get rid of such economist jokers and select someone who does not speak jargons in business channels having no idea about actual situation. Otherwise we may see another pay commission in next 3 months.

Last year Feb, I was attending company sponsored management training and the faculty from Symbiosis told us: wait for Oct-08 and skeletons will start trembling from closet, remove your deposits from Citi and ICICI, they may not be there tomorrow. Though worst didn't happen to ICICI, citi would have been shutdown without TARP. This made me feel that our people are more knowledgeable but not assertive, they should take initiative to drive this greedy world to prosperous world with the tinge of philosophy.

Not "tinge" of philosophy Rajendra, lots of it is needed currently. Only then we can acvhieve all inclusive growth. And we have enough meaningful philosophers on our gr8 land form the past whose teachings we can lean on. Human values need to be stressed, greed needs to be removed big time from the society.
