It doesn't really matter whether "Satyam" was founded and possesed by Telgu or Tamil. There is no doubt that these kinds collosal companies have been sacking from time to time in this cursed country. Nobody ever tried to know the reason behind it. I am a retired CBI officer and I know that all these are the results of some foul plays, played by the majority of north Indian business groups. Their men join in these targeted companies in managerial and other bureautic posts, than they start operating them on their own, use their notorious brains, conspiracies and wrong ideas, to drag these companies on the verge of complete collapse. These statesmen earn with both hands. Atlast those broken companies are either occupied by some north Indian tycoons or merged with others. At the moment, even some British hands are operating behind these tricks along with these north Indian business communities and it can not be denied,as they want to break the main jack of Indian economy, that is IT.
No, certainly not, from now onwards new owner should take over with different name,so that people of this country should forget this company and MR. Ramling---raju the great fraud we found in corpoarte level.
the brand is very important if someone in a company tries to malign the image its not the company's fault. afterall SATYAM is a brand established in the IT market, so it should be there....
Satyam has still a very good brand, reputation and it owns the status of the youngest company to be a billion dollar company. By the scam that happened, Raju has lost his reputation but not Satyam. I feel re-building the brand Satyam is pretty easier than TechM.

Looks like you are the one who works for Satyam and keeps singing the Satyam tune...While all others are crying as to why they belonged to Satyam, you are only one such specie who says Satyam has a good name...

good name of bad name can be a subjective issue. Look at the firm's delivery performance over the past years. Has it established leadership in any industry horizontal or vertical? Has it delivered projects to the satisfaction of its customers (ignore stray cases like Upaid, etc.)? That will tell you whether Satyam has a good name or bad name.
