Does this Paki know what he is talking!
by Rama Mani on Apr 13, 2009 06:43 PM

This person calling himself an economist should have some sense not to introduce communalism while ruling by being soft on terrorists and Muslim first everywhere! Did UPA win with just Muslim votes? This Paki does not know what he talking? One case. He says that he does not know what CBI was doing when CBI filed bogus report to courts on 84 Sikh riots exonerating Tytler! Even during 26/11 he did not know much details! He has lost his mental balance or else he will not be talking repeatedly BS.

Biggest genocide in the history of mankind!
by Rama Mani on Apr 13, 2009 06:41 PM

Some talk of Gujarat riots and Modi. Even there too, most are not talking/writing of Godhra and that large number of Hindus were killed too. For the sake of power and PM post, Congress and Nehru agreed for the partition of India on religious lines in 47. The current Pakistan had 23.5 percent of Hindus and the current Bangladesh had 40 percent of Hindus. Within two years, by one of the biggest genocides in the mankind, Hindus and Sikhs were killed, women and girls raped, kidnapped and killed. Huge number were driven out of simple fear. Hardly 1.5 percent were left within two years. This shameless PM and his family is the living example. The genocide of Hindus and Sikhs is least documented and publicized unlike the Armenian genocide in Turkey. From 80 onwards in J&K, large number of Hindus are being killed and driven out. Are many writing/talking about these genocides? This Con party is again going to repeat the history for non-Muslims by vote back politics and being soft on terrorists!

COOPERATIVES & CORPORATES
by udayraj on Apr 13, 2009 06:36 PM

There is no difference regarding functioning of cooperatives & corporates. Both are same. Promoters try always their best to benefit themselves, through loans, cash handling, forgery of unseen cash, etc. Difference is one & which go against corporates & i.e. in cooperatives whether you possess 1000 shares or single share you have one vote & in corporates maximum the shares, maximum the voting. Naturally, the frauds which are hidden in corporates since many years are not coming out, which was not happened with cooperatives. We have 2 examples which now corrupt, cheap & dirty ICAI is handling. Satyam saga is now by heart of the persons interested in finance sector. Nothing to talk about, but whatever ICAI & it's members are behaving is right in the direction & deterriorating system of finance to the worst & which should have to be dissolved.

Shameless politician
by Sam on Apr 13, 2009 06:36 PM

MMS has become shameless politician who can say "the country's regulatory structure is strong enough to prevent a Satyam-like fraud in future" - the regulatory structure that was slipping when Satyam happened.

I think the 108 martyrs made a mistake by sacrificing their lives. They should have, on the contrary, sacrificed the lives of the likes of this man who seems to have an utter disrespect for the feelings of the sons and daughters of the soil. Such people must understand, and I quote Mr. Praful Patel, "If you do not willingly respect them (the sons of the soil), they will force you to."

During my younger days, there is a saying that who ever visits Mumbai, he wont be deprived off hunger, he would get job, wht ever it maybe and flourish there. Am from south india, and i have many friends and relatives there, some visited there for employement and succeeded, others on tranfer jobs. As you hve correctly pointed out, now mumbai is chocking, and it should be developed, create more job opportunities, not election promises. Kongri is famous for election promises, and forgetting it gracefully, later, and again remembers the same promises for the consequent elections. Am an Indian, and i look forward the progress of the nation, whichever the state maybe, every state should progress, like gujarat is now rapidly progressing.

Stay away from Mumbai
by Paresh Padhye on Apr 13, 2009 06:17 PM  | Hide replies

It is better that this Sardar stays as far away from Mumbai from possible.
Mumbai is place people in getting work moving than just talking. It is city where famous punchline is - Hazir to Vazir. i.e. The person who works at time of need is great others are useless.
We do not want Delhi culture of Goondaism, Kolkatta culture of Strikes and Dharnas or Chennai culture of "Yes Sir" in Mumbai.
Mumbaikars want Modi who get things done and fight with only one motto - Eye for an eye.
This time Congress will not get even single seat in Mumbai. No one in Mumbai has forgot 26/11 and offcourse foolish CM , Dy CM i.e. Messrs VilasRoa and R.R.Patil.

Raj Thackrey has raised a valid point..
Secularism died the day india implemented reservations whats wrong in promoting regionalism ultimately every state has right to voice for locals moreover when there is no development in other states u cannot ignore locals!!!

State CENTRIC SELFISH POLITICIANS
by Janak Madhu on Apr 13, 2009 06:16 PM

Why are these politicians STATE/CITY centric? Why take efforts only to make MUMBAI a truly gobal city?? Why not make INDIA a truly global COUNTRY as such? This speech is just to gain sympathy over the attacks on mumbai.
