After 4 years of oppression with high inflation rates, interest rates, commodity rates, terrorist attacks, UPA Govt has suddenly become so generous in the election year.
They think that they will buy voters like they did it in parliament to win confidence vote.
we get pleased when some schemes are announced, though the experience is it doesn't benifit common man. this schmes are to creat wealth for politician and buracrats. What we need to day is creating employment, and the said can be created by providing facilities to comman man like road electricity ,water, housing,and the aim of this scheme should be comman man ,and not builders, politician to get reacher and reacher

most of the students who are poor or disabled enough will not be able to read this article here or in the business Standard.
The students who can read it here are wasting their time.
So the title of the article should have been more appropriate.
Cong is wasting public money for pleasing everyone. It increased babus salary. waived off the farmer loan and now this. Iska paisa kon dega. of course the idiot tax payer. salaried class.. Also now it is thinking ( yes only thinking) of tough terror law. Dont believe they will implement this. all eyes on next year election

U r abusing the govnt employees.Why? Do u know their contribution, whatever it be. Those govnt employee are only providing following services: power, Railway, Airports ofr riches like u, Highways , Road in front of ur house, Munciple corporation. In case of any disaster or natural calamity, only Govnt bodies come forward to help. I m not saying that they r providing the best services, but we should be grateful to them. And u know their salaries? U r not in the favour of their salary hike, which happens only after a gap of 10 years. last lime it happened in 1998. So how can u expect for better services without paying.

Add to this the External and Internal Security for lazy persons like you who are sitting on computer terminal whole day in airconditioned office with 25degree temp setting with controlled humidity.
While they are working day & night for you at Rajasthan border at 48 Degre C or at Leh/Laddka/Kargil at minus 25 Degre C

Now salary in Central Govt is as under after 6th Pay commission. 1) Chairman of NTPC/NHPC/AAI etc - Per month Rs 3.6 Lakhs all Free petrol free medical no limit. 2) Member - per month 2.8 Lakh all above as given to Chairman 3) Executive Directors - per month Rs 2.2 Lakh all as above. 4) General Manager - per month 1.8 Lakh 180 ltr petrol free medical no limit Rs 1200 Food Allowance. 5) DGM - per month 1.44 Lakh all above as to GM 6) Sr. manager/ Executive engineer - per month 1.2 Lakh all above as to GM 7) Manager - Rs per month 1.01 lakh 8) Astt Manager - Rs per month 90000/ 9) Jr. Engineer - I do not have data 10) Drafts Man - data not available 11) Driver - per month Rs 60000/- Canteen food Rs 1200 = Free medical no limit
Apart from above 7 national Holidays 52 PL 14 CL no time for coming to office anytime facility to go out from office.

Hi Mr Meti, It is people like you with no self respect, who think that others money is for them that makes a society redundant. Mr,If you are not making or earning good money, it is your fault and nobody elses why can't you take a loan and study if you are interested instead of eyeing for free things.

If you think the salaried class has no responsibilty of returning back to suppressed section of society then you are thinking wrong.So far as loan is concerned Banks only provide loans to the students those who have strong parental economic back ground . Now a days poor people hardly can think about Medical or engineering since they will not be able to pay such high price for the courses. talent is now a monopoly of rich only. If these section will not think about the upliftment of poors then poor will come out in other ways may it be Naxalites or somethingelse since they will also use their might if not in peaceful way

Hi Sanjeeb mohanty, Why should these loans be given only to so called backward caste? do you know it is impossible for a person from forward caste to get a loan (forget freebies) And why should a young student from forward caste who was born decades after caste suppression, suffer because he is from the higher caste I find in Kerala the Poojari's (most highest possible caste is he poorest comunity there) Obviously your thinking reflects your caste
If you are wondering about the sudden streak of euphoric incentives(depending on who you ask) by UPA, just think back and recollect your college days when you burnt the midnight oil just the day before your exams instead of paying your diligence during the semesters.
"frantic 11th hour PR stunts by UPA" .....would be a more apt headline for this article
Once ex British PM had said..Govt should act like a person. In the time of finance crisis, a man reduces its expenses to save for future and plan . But this govt is just spending the money without any planning during the crisis.

perhaps the fate of this country can not stop this bad luck of good people . Again there would be hang parliyment and same situation ! only thing PM might change.
UPA and Congress in perticular is distributing money for their personal gains,but whose money they are using and gulping? ALL TAX PAYERS SHOUD OPPOSE SUCH ELECTION STUNT RESULTING IN CORRUPTION. Why electronic media is silent on such public money MISUSE?
