by Farooq on Apr 15, 2008 02:24 PM  | Hide replies

we all know this from many many years but what shall we do now to bring that tresure home?? if that money is braught back to india that will change everything, we can do soo many things with that money, we can create millions of jobs we can improve our infrastructure....but what we common people can do to bring that money back to india? ..i am sure this politicians will not do anything as the author himself said "HAMAM MEY SUB NUNGEY" ...what i was thinking is that the media which is super power should help us bring this money back with too much pressure on the authorities..we youths shall take out big rallies and media should highlight it and sensationalise it untill we get our money back..it will be a boom to indian economy

Hi Guys...
we don't need that money to improve anything in india....lets do correct things from now...which will be sufficient to improve the infrastructure and quality of life in India...however if we people still try to take advantage of things whenever there is an oppurtunity thank god...don't point fingures at people who r doing at the large scale....

Indian un-accounted money abroad to be brought back
by ramakrishna rao yaragani on Apr 15, 2008 02:12 PM

Indian govt. is giving so many incentives to generate wealth legally residents and non-residents. Greed is limitless, so it can be curtailed for the benefit of the country and its people and can bestow patriotism of new order.

A law be made that every five years illegal amounts stashed anywhere abroad can transferred to the country of origin.

by Bhagat Singh on Apr 15, 2008 02:08 PM  | Hide replies

Guys and Gals, It is the message for all young generations, plz, come forward and unite and destroy completely those politicians who have done this. And get our money back. THis huge money can give india's infrastructure a real boost and help to eradicate the poverty.
Long back, our ancestors and our rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi had fought against britishersh and throw then out. AFter that during Indira Gandhi emergency period, Jaiprakash Narayan and India's students had made the effort to end the dicdetorship ruling. Now, it's our time to unite and fight and destroy these corrupt politicians, throw them outside the country and get our money back. Humlog, bahut dino se darr kar ke jeete aa rahe hain. Just remember one thing,
A BRAVE DIES ONCE, COWARD DIES SEVERAL TIMES. So, let's start the fight. Ab aur bardasht nahin ho sakta hai is desh ke logon ko. hamare, bhai, behan, mata, pita, hujm aur aap all are fighting through out our life to just fulfill our one simple wishe. ANd these corrupt ppl are simply stealing our money and spending in the wrong and immoral acts. Just imagine, what is happening with our TAX money?? Is this going in a right direction and getting used for the development?? NO WAY... Young generation can change this scene. Because, they have the power, courage and the killing instinct.

Bhagat Singh,

You have a very appropriate ID. What we got to do is have secret mission. Get our hands right until Switzerland but secretly. Having nationwide agetation, revolution, will not help. Our members must get into the bank itself as authorized officers to get this information out.

By the time this dream comes to reality, many members who started this mission may even die of old age. Nevertheless there no harm in trying.

A bank will never give out information about any account with them which is supposed to be a SECRET A/c. If one such case happens, the bank will loose out all the customers.

The only way is imbibing corruption in the bank itself by bribing the bank employee with certain percentage of the amount the investigator will gain; which itself will be corruption again. A honest person will not commit a murder to find out the mystery of the original murder.

What could be Swiss banks' gain out of dead account holders ?
by Jonas DSouza on Apr 15, 2008 01:51 PM

Generally, a will or a court order is required to open/transfer funds from a dead account holder's account to his/her kin or authorized inheriter.

I wonder how many accounts were really secret and none of the family members knew about them at all even after the death of the holder ? Or, how many are in dispute over who will inherit the money ?

I wonder what Swiss law says about such money !!

Swiss bank laws..
by Rackat Kanakam on Apr 15, 2008 01:33 PM

Swiss banks or any other tax-haven banks will not part with information so easily. (our govt not asking for such details is another story).
But alteast there must be some way to get some statistics - like number of Indians having such accounts, percentage of Indians having accounts in their banks etc. Just the number is enough. The following grapewine stories and denials will be very interesting for the media and the janata.

OUR CORRUPT SOCIETY
by Sujan Saraswati on Apr 15, 2008 01:25 PM

Let us not be hypocrite. Mr. Venkatesh, may not have got the opportunity to get corrupted. There are some professions in our country, which do not provide an individual the opportunity to be corrupt. Teaching, medical etc. are few such professions. Mr. Venkatesh or Mr. Vaidyanathan should understand that charging heavy for the services rendered and accepting gratification in lieu of the service rendered can be considered the same thing. What is probably hurting us the maximum is the rising corruption in our routines, like paying bribe to get a proper and correct electricity/water bill, bribing the scavengers to get the trash removed etc.
