The Difference
by yourman on Sep 24, 2007 07:22 AM  | Hide replies

Hi,

Iam a software engineer, i would like to Highlight the difference between india and other countries, here in india S/W engineers are being paid very well, nothing wrong but other people are being paid too low. The difference is very high which is not healthy sign. Ture development should bring the differnce to low like all other countries.

thats wat u think...but lots of people like real estate guys, builders, land owners, Senior employees in HAL, Officials in Govt office, etc etc earn 10 times mroe than s/w engineers. Also they dont have to pay income tax!! Also s/w engineers travel to different states for work and expenses like rent, etc are too high... On the whole a software engineer is a loser...

danger from other points
by Danendra Jain on Sep 24, 2007 06:19 AM  | Hide replies

RBI is worrried for six points mentioned above but the main risk is from politicla unstability.CPM is talking against Mr. Bush and tries to win the sympathy of Muslim votes even at the cost of the interest of the Indian people at large.
CPM's advice to UPA government to wait for few months till Mr. Bush is replaced by other person and postpone operationalisation of nuclear deal seems absurd and unacceptable.
It may be possible, CPM hopes that successor of Mr. Bush do not accept the deal in the present form and tries to modify or cancel the same. What is the motive behind such irrelevant talks made by CPM?
Are we negotiating and signing a deal with Mr. Bush or with a country USA?
Is Mr. Bush supreme and more important than the country?
What is the guarantee that Mr. Bush will not be reelected in the next election?
Is it sure that Mr. Bush will allow India to opt for nuclear deal when he is reelected?
India has more or less got concurrence of IAEA on nuclear deal concerning India. Now role of USA is important in NSG's meeting. And Mr. Bush is well acquainted with India, its leaders and its approach and hence if the nuclear deal is good for us, it is desirable for India to complete the task during his tenure only. It will be risky to postpone the matter for uncertain character and approach of successor of Mr. Bush. A bird in hand is better than two in bush. It will be foolish logically to go for uncertain discarding the certain.
Secondly what is the surety that Mr. Ma

Dear 'Whatever'
1) you have revealed your cowardice by not revealing your name
2) No sane Hindu wants a Hindu team, we want the best Indian team which is most capable and based on performances so far, Irfan Pathan is a good fit for the team
3) Pls do not question the integrity of a person because of his religion, remember Pathan is a true Indian who has always been a top performer and it was he who wrapped hat trick against Pakistan, when your 'Hindu' bowlers were useless
4)It is because of people like u with low mental IQ level that our country is going down the drain

Thanks

Its country only for software engineers

If you are asoftware engineer you will live in India like a king. But if you have an ordinary degree you will have big head ache to meet your basic needs. That is the difference between India and China which made a remarkable progress by elevating 11 million people in last eleven years. We need a economy which will care about its people and ignore majority

This has reference to hailoindia mail refering India as a country for Software engineers. Please note my friend that with the aviation growth now, India is badly looking for Aviation professionals consisting of ATC (Air Traffic Control 2 Commercial set up). Also India is heading for MRO - Maintenance Repair Overhauling and aviation giants like Lufthansa is participating in this tough competition. It is however, that we should view it with a widen eye and our efforts should be to strike the right door for utilising our talents.
All the best India - Please do take out "Talent Search" to avoid disappointment for professionals.

not true. there are many many sectors that are doing well. software engineers are having thier field day, just like how doctors and engineers of the erstwhile years did. they have a glorified job and also they earn more than usual. but doctors still make gobs of money, only its difficult to start as a doctor. civil and architects too have a slower start. business people are having a field day, so is real estate. i dont think the government babus are far behind, who are minting money by the bushels (thanx to corrupt ways unfortunately not through salaries). farm sectors in certain sections are doing good.

now for the bad news: i agree the large swathes of people are doing badly. that is due to lack of governance for so many years.
- we still rely on rains, as a nation we should have built one lake for every village; dams, lakes and bunds for every city.
- we still have no power reforms, and we are struggling for nuclear power. government gives power subsidies to rich farmers at the cost of industries and paying public.
- labour issues - with guys like communists who think no end of socialism - we'll never improve, communism and socialism havent worked for most of the world. we are caught in the past

we shouldnt compare ourselves with china. they dont have politics, they only have growth, we have corrupt babus AND politics everywhere. we'll never grow like them
-

I agree there should not be much difference between rich and poor. But some poor (not all)they do not want to work at all also.In my village (in most villages)there is a shortage of labour, people if go to work Male will get Rs: 100 Minimum and female will get Rs: 50 Minimum daily wase. Some times I think why these people will not go to villages and do work..

But I 100% agree. There should not be too much difference between rich and poor. And poor people thinking also should change to work..

I agree with you. And also add rise of these characterless parties like DMK, SP, CPI etc. is a major concern for economy because they have no faith in Integral India and they keep destablising our country by their petty level regional politics.
