It is very nice to see so many billionaires of India. But my appeal to them is that they must invest an ammount to solve the un employment problem of India. Thanks to Tata who are in the field of Industrialisation and generating employment opportunities.

Billionaries re.

-Chinmaya Spriritual Corp.
-Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Corp.
-Maharishi Majesh Yogi Inc.
-Iskcon (Harry Krishnas) Inc.
-Etc., etc...

Yoga Center business is looking like it needs an integrator, aglomerator and franchise oerator. A couple of license agents, lawyers and Venture capitalists may do the trick of throwing up good Indian bilionaires.
Huge upside potential:)

I don't think they are helping anyone. They are only helping themselves. In the process, they may have created few jobs. But, they won't care if they need to axe employess for profits. The statistics only shows which countries have more favourable environment to make money. Having more Indians in this club only means India's policies are now favorable now than they were in the past.

No one here seems to be proud

I am with the vast majority of people who do not consider this list as something to be proud of. Estate Tax is definitely a good idea. Lakshmi Mittal fumbled and farted when he was asked if he would do something similar to Warren Buffett (giving to charities) and mumbled "I am too young for that, you see, meanwhile let me spend $65M on my daughter's wedding. I like to flaunt, you see".

I don't consider that money $65M is not a big
spending!!!
Think about the VIP who is coming to the
wedding.
If anything happens to that VIP, do you tell the
same thing like that???
Also, think that these VIP's are not coming in
cars or buses, helicopter, planes!!!
All these will add up costs in millions!!!
These million spends also give lot of employment
to one sector!!!

Regarding charity, being in his level as

Looks like 'hello' is Lakshmi Mittal's agent. I have nothing against Lakshmi Mittal or against people earning wealth. They are there rightly because of their own potential. But, the fact is most of them are not there to help us or do charity to solve some problem. Rich Indians have not shown great ideas that can dramatically influence people's life. Forget about charity, has one Indian billionaire shown interest in investment for a brilliant idea. Richard Branson recently announced prize whoever comes with brightest idea to save environment. Is there any single example from Indians?

Dear Mr. Girish
Warrent Buffet has not given away all to chairty! he has ear marked the funds which will be periodically routed through bill gates foundation, over a number of years! I would any day have guys like mittals, ambanis, tantis who dared to dream go to the difficult terrains and built fortune on their own effort, rather than playing safe and riding on the efforts of another peroson - in case of buffet! Yes he is a smart investor, but then what has been his real effort? The wealth earned by him is not his own creation - He safely rode on the risk efforts of others!
