Lalu is a true Railway Minister...
by S Narayanan on Feb 27, 2007 11:10 AM

If some one has to learn the art of simple things but getting his job done no one now can come near Shri Lalu Yadav. He beleives in his dreams..It is amazing that budget after budget he is putting pressure on all his employees by cutting expenditure and maximising the profits with new trains and new developments..No doubt that IIM's are learing the art of his management. He was candid in his reply by saying the Railway employee don't work..In all in all good budget....

More Thoght for North East
by Sachidanand on Feb 27, 2007 11:10 AM

The Guwahati-Delhi Sampark Kranti Expres should be made daily.
Will the priority be accorded for extension of 139 at the Guwahati, the major rail head of North-East. It is surprising to note that this facility is not in existence at Guwahti whereas a small town like Katihar has this facility both under NFR.

RUNNING THE TRAINS INTIME
by on Feb 27, 2007 10:20 AM

MOST OF THE MAIL/EXPRESS TRAINS DO NOT RUN INTIME IN GENERAL AND SHUTTLE PASSENGER TRAINS IN PARTICULAR.

TIMING OF 2 HNK SHUTTLE MAY KINDLY BE CHANGED SO THAT PASSENGERS CAN REACH THEIR OFFICE BY 08.55 AM IN DELHI.

Rail Budget

Laluji
Everything seems to look good. But I would like to add something- Instead of reducing fare(small amount) if that money is to be utilized for the development, security of railway system it would have been better. Above all we need to develop a system which should work without corruption which most of us faced while travelling. Can we have some toll free complaint center (like call center) for posting our grievance or suggestion that may help a lot in improving the situation if calls are taking seriously.
