Left loves Chinese
by blackbelt on Oct 12, 2006 08:37 PM

Never trust the Communists or the Muslim League to talk in favor of India. Both these parties are loyal to enemies of the country. Chinese even now argue that it is India that attacked China back in 1962. Even West Bengal has started running after capitalists like US for foreign investment and so also China. But Kerala communists are a brainless bunch filling their stomach with empty slogans while this state is the last one in southern India to get any significant investment in high-tech field like IT. We wonder the reasons why? They forced Birlas to shut the rayon plant near Calicut & now walk the streets with empty stomachs except for slogans. No wonder Swami Vivekananda called Kerala a lunatic asylum.

Give them a taste of their own medicine

Kudos to Dr Singh for applying same yard stick wchich left hasbeen using against the entire process of reform. It is high time that they should be shown the door before they completely paralyse the FDI & disinvestment drive.

some decisions should be taken by mind
by suhasnatyan on Oct 12, 2006 08:23 PM

What these lefty are we all know, so now the point is that some decision should be made by keeping all things in mind and what its effect will be in long run.
And then we just come to a decision "Sorry" please. He is our good neighbour but no please. Allow them in other sectors, but not in this.
One thing more can we invest (put) these lefties in china??

left wants chinese fdi in ports
by v.raghupathi on Oct 12, 2006 07:25 PM

friends
i think u all fell into the trap
it is pure shaddow fight between them
m.m.s-p.c- m.s.a axis trying to negotiate with left
to get their consent for fdi in retail and insurance sector- see mulford speeches- which are more imp to them than chinese fdi in ports
this ex tmc leader p.c left his own party congress democratic peravai leaving all his followers in the lurch just on the eve of last election, joined cong, won and was chosen by wb imf to be the fm and we all know madam sg was forced to accept him.
he has two robes
one as s.c lawyer fighting for dhabol if not in the power and act on behalf of wb imf if he is fm or commerce minister
so also with msa
so let there be no qualms about these people
but is it the first that time we read about double standards?
did not bjp do it more bluntly in the past
as e.t 2nd page says it is great thamasha in indian political theater
let us sit and enjoy

Typical Communist Hypocrisy
by Gaurab Sengupta on Oct 12, 2006 07:17 PM

Kind of exposes the left, doesn't it? Either you are against FDI, or you are not. Evidently, our communists are for "selective" FDI...!

Don't meddle with Security affairs
by Sudhi Ranjan on Oct 12, 2006 07:02 PM

Wow, read all the comments from all the readers. A common man can understand but not the damned politicians. All they want is a platform for some cheap publicity.
Thank you rediff. Could you bring this issue for voting please.
These communist traitors of India should be given the punishment that a communist state would do. Shooting squad. Can't these communist politicians be more devoted to their country than their pseudo ideologies?
Tell us you Mr. Kerala Chief Minister, what you have you done for your state to put it on the progress map?
