Time to leave country?
by Manish Kumar Sarswat on Jun 13, 2006 04:00 AM

I am not sure what message government want to pass. There is a creamy layer of people in these ST/SC/OBC community who take advantage of reservation again and again (as evident from case of daughter of our former president).

Is it time that anyone from upper caste should try and leave country for some more eqitable place?

Regards
Manish

Former president K.R. Narayanans daughter secured her entry into the Indian Foreign Service via the Dalit quota. Shame on these cunning politicians.

6. Why we say only SC/BC/OBC are backward. Is not whole of India living in villages backward. Did not whole of India suffered thousands years of slavery and lived a miserable life?
7. Are we not encouraging castism in India. I remember when studying in college when nobody cares about others caste. Are we not reminding and labeling a caste on each Indian now?
8. I heard that landlords (Yadavs etc.) and Millionaires (Jewellers Suniare ) are also considered backward OBC. Is this not bullshit!
9. Do we any doubt now that Politicians are the most dirty class of humanity who create conflicts, wars to remain in power. This reminds me of Osho who spoke very boldly decades ago calling people to get rid of politicians?
10. Why should not Youth of the country continue their movement and be in power and hang all the politicians in public where we can have a country where nobody is called "backward" and everybody live with self respect, confident and dignity.
Youth should now create a new life style , get rid of different surnames,

1.Why a wife needs reservation when his husband used reservation only last year to become a lecturer in a Govt university?
2.Why a family earning 10 laks a year needs reservation just because they have SC/BC certificate?

3.Why a person can use reservation more than 1 time in his life if he just needs an opportunity to come on the road of success.

4. What will happen to the self respect and dignity of the person using reservation. How can such a person come out of inferiority complex in all his/her life when he used a wheel chair even when he was not a handicapped?

5. Are not only few rich people using this reservation again and gain in their life. The real backward SC/BC are not even aware of such reservation?
I myself belong to SC but could not get a seat in reservation. I know out neighbor whose father was Class-I officer and his son was all educated in Convent schools in English medium and he got admission in professional college using reservation. My father being a peon in a Govt College was not more deserving SC candidate? Why these greedy so called SC people dont let real backward people to get their turn.

Reservation
by Ramana on Jun 06, 2006 06:59 AM

It is better to have 100% reservation in all Universities and Govt organizations for atleast 50 years.
I strongly recommend all legislative National Assembly and parliament seats should be reserved 100% for aleast 49.5 years.
Indian upper caste people can find their seats by taking loans and study abroad and find job for 50 years and can come back home after 50 years and then their children or grand children can compete for University seats and also they can compete for job and can serve the nation.

Major setback for India's Progress
by Aditya on Jun 06, 2006 05:42 AM

Just Imagine MNC's like Microsoft, Oracle, Intel which are increasingly expanding in India will now be told to mandatorily hire people based on their casts. These companies hire only the best and brightest and they dont think twice before firing anyone if not found competent enough. I guess next the goverment will have to come up with a legislation saying no firing of OBC's from private sector. So you might be an idiot but if you get a case certificate(which you easily can for Rs.5000) nobody can fire you and your job is secured. Sounds wonderful but its not goona happen as all these companies will probably shift to China. This congress party must be wiped off the face of planet earth or they will wipe India off.

Reservations in Private Sector
by Bhagwat on Jun 06, 2006 03:29 AM

I do not think that the private sector should really bother much about the government mandating reservations. The government simply has no way of enforcing this legislation. If companys like Infosys, Wipro and the Tatas simply refuse to comply, what is the govenment going to do? Shut them down? Let's see the fun then... the stock markets, the Indian Rupee, inflation etc. total masti!!

It would actually be fun to have the govenment pass such a law...

They should stop voting politics
by omkar bhave on Jun 06, 2006 03:27 AM

Politicians are so immature in terms of the economical impacts that they do not understand that india will loose it's international invester.

Now reservation should be abolished in all sense except on economic grounds.
