IITians are just like any other student, just that they slog during 10-12th standard attend daily coaching classes mug up the whole subject front and back and get into IIT. I have rarely seen a real brainy IITian.. All the rest of them are just run of the Mill engineers, who just want to mint money under brand name. what big work did these IITian did for the country. If you compare the number of non IITians in U.S and who send tons of money back to India, these IITian share is just peanut..
How about checking how many Jews won the Noble Prize in the last 100 years, and what percentage of world population do they represent(less then 1%)?
Why are swedes so hesitant in giving Noble Prize to IITians-god's own gift to the world?
Should we attack Sweden? because they refuse to acknowledge that IITians are god's gift to the world, and they think that all IITians have done is to work in big corporations and talked about their alma mater fraternity just like any other Greek Frat groups in US universities.
In years you chaps have printed some crap but this one is special. Yet another IITian proves why our country continues to be beaten in EVERY arena worldwide. This is the mindset that has dogged my dear countrymen for the past 50 years. Every Indian is so sure that they are sooo smart and so above everyone. IITians are pure meritocratic rote scum set of geeks who should take their degrees and shove it some place where the sun dont shine. How many nobel laureates in the world are IITians? NONE, How many are in the billionaires club, NONE, how many shake their heads to say yes or no when no one can make out what they mean...oh wait thats with our whole nation!...LOSERS...ALL OF US and that includes IITians who are even bigger losers to believe in their lies!

IITians are good. No doubt. One of the best. No doubt again. But this was bull shit! What about other colleges which have been equally good like BITS and NITs?! And forget India, what about colleges abroad.They are sitting and doing nothing?!! Have you ever heard MIT grads talking like this? Self Obsessed?!
I knew Rediff.com is a IITB alumnus' site. It was nice to see a change in mentality by reading the great interviews and articles on this site. But this was too much! I have been hearing IITs n IIMs for long here. Even articles which undermine other colleges! I guess people have to learn to be impartial and a little less snobbish. Today was the limit!

It is waste of time and space to read baseless selfprising article, but anway as social responsilbility i have to reply. Everybodies profession is utmost important to progress a nation and sustain dynamics of socity....as we progress we ought to appreciate and recognise smallest contribution from non-God people as well...without which no existance for God itself...
other professionals really have to work hard, service minded for least benefits.....U,ITIn's)(so,,so,,Gods) just comparable to a drop in big ocean of society....please try to learn some humility

I fully disagree with this conservative statement. I don't think IITan sitting in american earning dollers is a gift of god to this nation and not those who sacrifised their lifes for the wellfair & security of this country. How about those soldiers, who used to guard this nation 24 hours irrespective of fear to be killed on next second. IITan can be gift to this nation but not just IITans are only gift to this nation. There are so many others who are bigger gift to this nation rather than IITans. One more thing i fully disagree is about her daughter statement. American and honest. I don't think any statement can be more rubbish than this one. If americans are honest then what they are doing in IRAQ???? I fully accept there are so many problems in our country ranging from social and economical. But how one can think of leaving his country just because of this small reasons. Those who are leaving this country because of these reasons might change their mom and dad for above. Ya one thing we indians should do. We has to start repecting our culture and values rather than just running for east.
Bulls ***** u know 90 percent of the reason of their success is such hype and subsequent acceptablity in corporate culture.
