When you were the PM - what you did for karnataka? can you explore your cauvery contribution - i mean your contribution to bay of bengal with cauvery water?
When the whole world admire for MR.NRN - you are criticising him!m Either the world is wrong.. ..or who else! You are wrong!
Gowda.. more than you, I know Bangalore better. Its this Bangalore which made me have a better life because of IT. You are part of the govt. and can't take a back seat to critcise everything. It looks like Wipro and other companies have given some money to you and not Infosys. Although I don't work for that company, I've enormous respect for that company which brought transperancy and improved the negotiation for employees.
When more tax was levied on hardware, Premji told the state govt. to collect more tax from the employees because they are paid good and not the IT companies. So, now you can make out the difference.
In this context, why do we want to take your side and view, when you've not done anything for us nor even to the poorest (farmers?) whom you are talking about.
One last thing I don't understand, do you propose everyone should be in rented buildings so that the Reddys, Naidus, Gowdas would be benefitted?
We are not that fools to listen to your barkings.. First, put your foot down and start working for the govt. as you are also part of it.
With all due respect to what Infosys and Mr. Moorthy have contributed to IT industry, I just feel Infosys and his contribution are always talked in an exaggerated manner. As if Infosys and Mr. Moorthy are the beginning and end of Indian IT industry. Folks, just have a look at what other companies take for example TCS and Mr. F C Kohali have contributed to IT and India, and always maintained a low profile about it. This is Infosys that has either deliberately itself overplayed or media which has exaggerated its contribution.
IT has received a red carpet from all the governments but in contrast how much they have contributed for masses, their contribution is limited to improving the living standard of Indias salaried class not the masses. Tax exemption and other things were introduced to help IT flourish and now since its a matured industry time have come to contribute to country instead of endlessly cribbing about not getting favors. Open your eyes and look around which other industry get this kind of treatment?
I think Mr gowda is just frustrated pure and simple. What value he has created in the society if he can answer this question sincerely and to the satisfaction of the people then only he has right to ask such question. Otherwise for students and civilians like me he is just a politician playing dirty games.
Who the hell is Deve Gowda? He claims to have done much but only for himself and his family. Mr Gowda should also answer how he and his family has aquired so much land in and around Bangalore. Gowda says he wants to develop the rural areas, what was he doing for all these years, sleeping? What have all the politicians from his party been doing for all these years when they were in power, sleeping? How dare this useless person talk of IT industry like this. We are not going to keep quiet Deve Gowda. You will get more than you deserve from us! Don't think only you have a mouth to talk, we will shut up permanently. And just for your info Wipro has more land than Infy in Bangalore which they got from the government.
There was TCS,Wipro but nobody gace Stock options to employees...Though these companies are earning more than INfosys, the honour goes to Infosys because of well defined policies for their employees and distribution of wealth amongst their employees. There are some 1500 Crorepatis in Infosys alone..what abt wipro and TCS??Mr Murthy could have amessed lot of wealth but instead he believes in making good company, emp. satisfaction that is why he has grown to such a amazing heights... Mr .Devegowda is creeping with false allegations. We have seen him sleeping him when there is a parliamentary meeting going on....Such alazy person even does not deserve to utter such bad words for IT great Mr.Murthy.
I can not understand want is meant by State coffers not getting money. Are not the software employees paying income tax, which finally comes to the state governments? Are they not paying sales tax while buying commodities? What a number of indirect jobs software industry would have created.
I am in Tamil Nadu and I stepped into Bangalore after nearly 7 years and found it to be altogether a different city - more buildings, malls, hotels, restaurants, taxis, autorickshaws - are these not employment and revenue percolation for Karnataka?
