We all know what was Mr.DeveGowda doing when he was the PM. Wasn't he sleeping at every possible oppurtunity! Agreed that Infosys is not the only one, but surely they are the ones who set of lot bench marks. But trying to hit at Mr.Murthy just to gain political mileage or get back at S.M.Krishna stinks!
MR. Gowda, please go back to your sleep and allow us to progress.
Infosys has made good investments in bangalore when compared to other cities. The revenue generated and employment given are also high in this city. So I don't mind there is any problem giving land to Infosys in Karnataka state. The only thing which I would suggest is that they have to utilise their land completely. They should not simply acquire lands to show others that their campuses are very big when compared to other companies. They might have funds to purchase acres of lands in every part of the country. But this does not mean that they can simply waste land to show that their campuses are very big. They and the government should ensure that if they purchase some acres of land, they should utilse it to almost 100%. About 85% should be fully occupied with buildings and the remaining can be used for land scaping or other activities. The result is that they should utilise it 100%.
I would like to reveal the fact that the original value creator for India in general and IT industry in particular is Mr. Narendra Patni of Patni Computers. He was the proposer of On site offshore model which is still prevelant in the IT industry and is the basic value proposition of the IT industry.Nothing much has been added to the model by any one else. The credit to a booming IT sector should be given to Mr.Narendra Patni.Infact the BPO sector is also based on almost same value proposition.
Gowda has totally lost it! I think, there has to be some kind of psychiatric test for everyone, who is in public service(I mean, looting). Suggestion for Rediff: Please warn readers about mental condition of Interviewee everytime you publish interviews of mad people like these.
Deve Gowda held up the airport till 500 acres were removed from the original project plan, so what happened to those 500 acres ? People should ask Deve Gownda questions rather than respond to questions from him as his involvement in the land is higher than any one else
It is better not to go on dragging this issue with the most unoworthy person to be in politics, the so-called former PM of our country Deve Gowda. He does not know what he is talking and he just wants to be in the limelight of news for all the wrong reasons. I feel that the highly tolerant people of Karnataka should give him a fitting reply in the next elections whenever it is held. The lesson should not only shake him,but also his so-called partymen and its worthless workers. What does Gowda know about IT?Does he know the expansion of that? He might only know it for Income Tax. Neither does he do any developmental acitivity, nor does he allow anyone else to do some deverlopmental activity. Can he not maintain his dignity as the former PM of India. Did all the other former PMs of our conntry act in the same way? Are they not out of bigmouthing eventhough they are in active politics for whatever reason it may be. IS there nobody who can shut this person's mouth shut for good, and allow such eminent persons like Narayan Murthy, Azim Premji, et al to take up developmental work for this state which has seen only struggles.
