Another role model for the indian youth.

We have to imbibe the spirit of adventure and learn that nothing ventured is nothing gained.

There is more to life than being dignified clerks.

ME OBEROI
by VIJAY BAHRI on Oct 21, 2005 11:31 AM

He was indeed a great soul. Though never met him, but as a hotel professional I always look upon him as the greatest gurus of Hotel Industry.

On his 101st birthday, I wished him through post and to my surprise he wrote back to thank me. I still preserve that letter!

Thanks for sharing this self autobiography.

my admiration, salute and tribute to a believer and fighter.
by Sushant Chatterjee on Oct 21, 2005 11:26 AM

I am fascinatingly speechless.Never knew before, in history, that humility could become an attribute of Kingliness Splendour, resulting into bringing in remarkable command, dignity and rare respect. Never knew before, that the background of village, poverty and misfortune could so well-train an individual to retain goodness, trust and sincerity. I havent gone through this kind of life. But I feel humility coming in my way while accepting that I can WILL, and train myself to adhere to these few 'modest' qualities I mentioned above; but which are powerful enough to leave a fascinating vibration of ourselves in the world around!
I salute you, Mr. M.S.Oberoi.
