Its Informative article, and it helps lots of Freshers (mostly underdogs). I like the statistics you have enumerated about the copany's recruitment programm.

It's nice to see your reply for "IT cats and dogs".Even I have similar openion.
But.How far those who complted degre or PG wait for a break in the form of job in their respective filed.
It may take long time.So in order to overcome current problems they astisfy job in any unrelated sector and staisfy with pay pack.

An excellent article...It is just a mirror hold towards the IT Employees and their backgrounds. It will be a good guidence for the new aspirants. Rediff must publish such articles.

I would like to add one more fact to this very realistic article that freshers should not run after any short term software courses after their B.E.'s wasting their parents hard earned money. All good companies just go for right aptitude and attitude and thats what a fresher needs to work upon.

Some Information is also required about what should the individuals who have not been to eng colleges but have quite good knowledge, who have done diploma courses do. Where should they try and what that they should keep into their minds....
