What about health of people running pillar to post for exchanging
by Dave on Nov 17, 2016 11:43 AM  | Hide replies

Your mom is probably sitting at one place in the office. Can you imagine the anxiety of people running pillar to post for exchanging money. Standing in queues for hours to find out that there is no money when they reach the counter?

I think she does not know that people working in private companies work for minimum 15 hours a day, even without OT. just to save their jobs. Their salary is much lesser than those working in Banks & Post Offices.

Thanks to your mom but you should also feel fortunate that your mom is able to serve the nation when it needs her and also because many people as educated as your mom are jobless today. So cherish what you have.

Agree but we should also thank them for the additional hours they are putting in. True that they should not crib about these. People who are cribbing are govt bankers.

Boss, don't give undue credit to the Bankers. They are not working whole heartedly. Just walk in to any branch of SBI to know their 'work' culture. They hardly know what decency means.

Hope your mom's colleague would support and adjust her accounting any health issues if she had.

As such most of the private oraniation were working for 09:00 AM to 09:00 PM and in many cases without any OT wages working more than 12 hours a day.

Working Hours
by NAVIN BAXI on Nov 17, 2016 10:32 AM

Our profound gratitude to ALL the bank employees and staff of ATM Support system who worked tirelessly in all these days.

A Request: Please maintain your composure and cool in spite of trying times & people. Otherwise, there are many people/political parties who will provoke by their utterances & drama and one small reaction of Bank staff will be blown out of proportion to malign the great work done by Bankers including Post Offices & other staff. This far.. Just a little further... Please.

People at the Post offices have barely worked in their entire lives for more than 2 -3 hrs in a day. Obviously they are finding it difficult now.
Same goes for private banks employees who may be work for 4 hours - all these when converted to the efficiency levels of employees in the private sector.
Private sector banks employees are handling this much better as they, like other private sector employees, are much more experienced in handling stress and long work.

Its Ok
by Tilak Singh on Nov 17, 2016 10:20 AM

It is Ok for everyone to work 12 Hrs a day in the current situation especially Govt Bank Employees, who hardly work. They can tell bedtime stories to their Grand children "Once upon a time for 50 days I work 12 Hrs a day" and this would be justifiably even for the salaries, incentives, bonuses etc they get for there non performances
