I don't care what jobs they have done in the past to survive...Even if it was a prostitute becoming a minister. Its alright, cause circumstance makes a person do odd jobs. I have not seen lately by the education minister taking drastic steps for Indian students studying abroad. I doubt even if she is aware of the students studying in India face so many challenges. In politics if the Finance Minister is not a Commerce Graduate. Education Minister is not even completed college degree, Health Minister is not from Medical background. Then the end is very close... Cause the nation's generations will Lack Education, Finance, Medic which makes the nation strong...Hope Modi will understand...who himself is a tea seller.

sir, I may also add, the sanctions of new programming on education systems and improvements, that too by a non graduate (as proved earlier in media) having no prior expertise in education area except serials on small screen. so many qualified persons are there who would have been the choice.

Google Smriti and mika to see what she was doing before becoming the HRD chief of the country. She is Just another Gajendra chouhan and Pahlaj Nihali kind of personality.
It is shameful for a person of Kamats stature that Smriti Irani did a job to earn her livelihood. She did & she kept her self respect too, or she should have done some other below dignity job, this is altogether different to say whether she deserves to be HRD Minister or not but kamat must feel sorry for his words. This is an attack on the dignity of a woman.
There.is no menial job. But in India most jobs r identified with caste. Certain jobs r looked down. V r hypocrites n great talkers.BTW im not a fan of smriti irani.
