I am sorry to say thiruvananthapuram airport is bad. The infrastructure looks like 1970s . maybe it was good before but after visiting other airspaces , this airport looks like local

Chennai airport provides normal bus to take u till aircraft..that too in SuMMER. Looks like it's only made for lungi people

you may have wandered into the domestic terminal that is a relic of the 70s and is soon going to be shifted close to the international terminal. The NITB was rated the best one under AAI and it figures regularly in the best 5 list.This rating is based on realtime parameters instead of cosmetic looks.
I have almost seen 25 airports in India. Patna seems to be the worst if you consider Services, Runway Length and many more. Small Runway handling big planes.... waiting for another disaster..... one side approach is near to railway track and other side is near to road out side airport .... what else you want for an accident...

We should consider airport where 4 or more commercial flights being handled in a day... Hubli, Jabalpur, Nashik, Gwalior , Allahabad, Rajamundry, Surat or similar places should be kept aside.
