very immature out of fashion. This is India and This is also era of computers and internet (mail certainly means email if you are an ITian). Only a sex crazy man will assume it to be "buttocks" if you say "backside", others will understand correctly

Because I might repeat myself thrice or many times over. Or I just repeat myself twice... And Rediff please correct your English before you start teaching the world. Your articles have such glaring mistakes and you point at others. Silly!

certainly indian english thousand times better than american slang. English is not the mother tongue of Indians, I sugest you better shift your focus onthe american english who changed the basic priciples of cambridge and oxford english which are the parents of English. Why dont you teach tolerance to this world. Are you interested to listen from me that google and yahoo are better platforms to learn good english than rediff. We, Indians are proud enough to have Mahatma Gandhi and Lord Budha who taught us lot of commonsense, which we can teach others.

Just see the standard of your own language (n topics as well) that's posted on-site. It directly reflects the standard of your editorial staff's language n mentality.

stop making fun of indian english. it is going to make us feel inferior. english has already killed many indian languages and we still continue to be tjhe slaves of british imperialism. everything is ok as long as we con communicate. people in every country have their own distinguished style of doing things and so are indians.

English has not killed any language; it has rather lend us competency internationally. In fact it is we who feel awkward speaking ones mother tongue or native language in public or even at home which results in our kids forgetting our own language to a considerable extent. REMEMBER, no new or extra knowledge forces you to forgo the one you already know. Speaking English does not mean you neglect Hindi or your mother tongue!!!! AND FINALLY, English TODAY is not ONLY language of British, it is an international language. The whole matter may be understood like this-"Like not knowing Hindi makes it difficult to be in Indian subcontinent, not knowing English will place you precariously in dealing with international acclaim (now I have given you another point of arguement; wlecome). Can any one in India say Hindi is "the language of UP"????

Yeah! even a Bermuda (instead of a trouser) would cover you enough, though you may be at office.
