No doubt about Dr Panda is one of the best doctor in our country but he should do something for poor people. Apart from the charitable trust and donors, he should have done free of charge as he has got enough money to spare on poor.
Just becoming a big doctor will not serve any good thing to the society. Odissa is a poor state with poor medical facilities. No reputed hospitals are there to serve people of that state. For treatment they are going to Kolkata or Mumbai for treatment. Doing business is good but helping poor is very good. Just highlighting his poor background will not serve purpose, Let us hope he will do some good charitable work for his home state.

Odisha has good local doctors. Facilities may be deficient but there is no much advantages in going to Kolkata for treatment. Yes, cancer patients from the state flock to Tata Memorial for their treatment.

Doctor alone cannot do the charitable work everyone should join hands and then only doctor can handle the patients. Does any businessman or big hotels do give food free of cost to the poor sorry to say its not true , but everyone expects a doctor should do the charitable work - as it is life saving work yes they do but who should bear the expenses of consumables...before writing for doctor think over yourselves how much charitable work you/we have done.

What you means is totally concerned with the mind set of that ZONE or area.
Dr Panda's story is very inspiring as well his vision is appreciable. But how I wish he opens up charitable branches of his hospital with all expertise in remote areas in joint venture with Government or other Hospitals so that many more poor people of India can be blessed by Panda's and team's expertise.
Dr Panda's inspiring story should be a guideline for all the parents and children. This generation if a teacher or Principal punish the students, parents comes first to school and fight with them and make up all unwanted stories and make it a big issue outside. Never support the children where they are wrong if you want them to grow as a true humanbeing.
