Garlic which is age old Indian remedy for many ailments, including H.B.P. has been missed by this writer. Instead of coffee one should take green tea which has health benefits.

There may be several ways of treating ones problems like High BP etc. But one simple, natural & no side effects way to control no just BP but also lower your Cholestrol, regulate blodd flow, take care of chances of heart atack etc., is just clap with your both hands, with your fingers spread apart. As far as I know, bad cholestrol is triglycerides in the blood or fat cells in blood. Just inhale thru your nostrils (nose) and exhale thru mouth preferably in the morning & evening but also thruout out the day. When you inhale thru nostrils the nitrogen (4 parts) & Oxygen (1 part) in the air we inhale, is split into Nitrous Oxide and this kills the fat cells (bad cholestrol) n the blood. Simple INHALE THRU NOSE & EXHALE THRU MOUTH. That is the beginning OR first principle of Yoga/breathing exercise.

Consume two raw garlic or garlic pearls in the morning. Take Green Tea regularly along with the ALMONDS (2-3) in the morning on empty stomach apart from the remedies suggested by the writer.

We must take 10 times potassium as compared to sodium. Unfortunately, in our daily diet this ratio is hardly 1:1. 1 Potato has highest Potassium in all food products. Potato initself is not bad but it absorbs high qty of FAT during Frying. Take Baked/Boiled Potato preferably with Skin.

Blood Pressure is common in slim and obese or overweight people. However, obese people are prone to H.B.P. and Diabetes. Those overweight/obese should certainly avoid potatoes.

May be because Potatoes (with skin on) are very rich in Potassium and it counters the effect o sodium which increases BP

one hour gym and 5 miles a day brisk walk OR run,avoid oily and dairy food,come out of non veg, have regularly egg, consume raw garlic in the night(to avoid bad breath in the day). if one does this not only from HBP HE WILL COME OUT FROM MANY PROBLEMS. just forget it.

Potatos and bananas reduce BP because they have pottasium, which somehow balances sodium that causes high BP. Potato is also good for increasing immunity. Regarding blood sugar , every one needs a certain quantity of carbohydrates every day. Our cells need sugar for functioning. The way to consume potato without increasing blood sugar is to reduce some other source of carbohydrate from the diet. When you eat potato , eat less rice and avoid junk food.
