India has to make it mandatory for all the politicians as IAS-EXAM min passed. Then only all these BABUS can be put on talent hunt and reduce the political messiah and corrupts were kept aside to certain extent.

We must start a new criteria,who wants be in active politics.Indian Political Administartive Service(IPAS).The people who clear IPAS shall be allowed to contest elections in Parliment and Assembly levels.

Congrtas to Hartitha for her great achievement... However, I wound like to leave a few comments about the so called "elite" civil service in India. I feel this test has been made over-hyped in India. Do we really need super talented people with lot of theoretical knowledge to do the services for this job? or we actually need honest, hard working and decently latented but great problem solvers for the job? we have never really asked that question after so many years of independence and have largely followed the status quo and maintained the system running from the post british India (as in many other aspect of Indian life). I guess thats what we need to do in order to revamp this service to a level with no corruption and extremely high efficiency..at least thats what would have been done over here in the US..
Congratulations Haritha on your outstanding achievement!! To the younger generation, I used to tell the success story of King Robert Bruce, when they confront set backs in their studies or career. The lesson from the story is keep on trying till you succede or in short the quality of 'perseverance'. Robert Bruce had to fight seven times for his success in the battle, but Haritha could attain success at the fourth attempt that too by topping the list of winners. As she said failure is only the stepping stone to success. But I would like to add that success is the sum of all failures in one's life, whether it is exams or career or whatever.
