Hi all, WFH with some restrictions will make it more productive. As only 2 days a week, and should be available between timings these kind of arrangement works well for both employees and the Organization.
I think Work from home gives lot of advantages to employees, they may work freely without any controlled environment and anytime they are available, hence productivity may improve provided there should be control centre, and more over there will be huge cost cutting for company since it does not matter where you are now, technology improved a lot and anybody can connect with anybody within fraction of seconds, Work from Home is a good technique can be implemented as a pilot approach and see.... i think MNCs like IBM already implemented i believe....
Some work better when they are alone rather than when they are with others becuase they know they are right and getting together at times could be more of time wasting. Working from home also lessens stress due to discrimination at work. Working from home (esp for women) can also mean taking care of urgent house work without sacrificing on office work load. Productive days would also be more as leave taking could be less. However a Company has to ensure updation of their work force on recent trends, team working, intra-departmental understanding and co-ordination which can come only when one works willingly from office.
