The relieved one Afroz has done the act of inserting, is there anything else to be told. Saudi foreign affice employee raped the house hold help in Delhi and ran off to Saudi to escape law
I have gone through the comment of people, religious have own identity and wearing burkha is not talibilazation and wearing bikni is not modernization.People have own choice if she/he want to follow the religion what went wrong and this matter is not a discusable she simly follow the religion nothing else and I congratulate her for her courage.
In an era when Muslim girls are slowly coming out of the cocoon, and are still facing tremendous amount of resistance, such acts only make things more difficult for youngsters.
Imagine the young musicians from Kashmir who were forced to shut down their band? The whole idea of the burkha is to suppress a woman's individuality.
At least from her pictures, it doesn't look ilke this girl has much going for her in terms of looks or appearance - so she has smartly resorted to this route, to attract publicity and get a job.
We need to condemn this girl whole heartedly.
I fully agree that talent should be paramount - and other factors should not be major factors. And probably, for a Radio Jockey, her voice and her vivacity is more important than how she looks. But there is also something called attitude, and by wearing a burkha, this girl is showing extremely poor attitude.
It is a pity that Rediff is playing this up, instead of recognizing this for the publicity stunt it is.

you have selected your name correctly, you have no value and will give comments that does not have any value. Why are you so bothered about other religion. You are communal and blames others for the same
about the outfit of a woman. whether muslim or not. the phrase "that I was not going to look gorgeous for anybody" is laughable. its self evident. I am also from same university. Its the case of a person embracing talibalan "principles". Its free advertisement for her employer. Rediff should charge them advertising fee.
she want to look different so her name will come in news. if she really care aboutIslam then she will not work in radio because music is againstIslam. M peapel are allfrauds
