The questions arose in her mind when she saw a lot of discrimination against those who are not that good looking, in the event management industry, where she was doing part time work. She felt that there was so much of importance given to physical beauty and that disturbed her.
The Burkha in Islam is to Cover beauty so that it does not arouse sexual feeling among men and women. not as a substitute of confidence and self respect.

his genuine question has been answered very genuinely and precisely in Quran. go and search it, if you are truthful in your query. if you are asking just for the sake of asking and showing your ignorance, then we don't care you...

Dr Ambedkar's views on Burka - These burkha-clad women walking on the streets are one of the most hideous sights one can witness in India. Such seclusion cannot but have its deteriorating effects upon the physical constitution of Muslim women. They are usually victims of anaemia, tuberculosis and pyorrhea. Their bodies are deformed with their backs bent etc. Ribs, bones and nearly all their bones ache. Heart palpation is very often present in them. The result of this pelvic deformity is untimely death at the time of delivery. Purdah deprives Muslim women of mental & moral nourishment.cyz

we need that day, to keep women safe, specially in in Loundia...can't you see the situation and failing of your system which can't protect women...? we need these harsh laws for harassing women to protect them and law of modesty on women prevent any kind of temptation...
I think we as a society have the habit of forming very clear stereotypes and whether it has to do with associating the wearing of "Modern" clothes with "Modern" women or classifying a "Burkha" as a regressive entity, both create and feed stereotypical views of women. Being modern has got to do more with the mind and not what you wear. Just because you wear a bikini does not mean you are modern, and just because you wear a burkha does not mean you are regressive.
Let us allow each individual to choose what they want without being judgemental about it.
I have been a very frequent listener of Sano's morning show and surely the way she conducts the show does not have a whiff of regressive behavior about it. On contraire, she comes across as modern as any other Indian woman.
Let us also not bring religion into this discussion. We Indians have the habit of associating every simple thing with a religious stereotype, although we call ourselves very modern and very secular, platitudes which loose their very meaning based on our behavior.
Just for the record, I am a modern Hindu male from a relatively modern Hindu family and believe that matters of personal choice, should be just that.
Also beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. Who are we to judge how beautiful or not someone is and attribute that as a reason for the choice of dress.
It would have been better if rediff wrote about her RJ talent rather than base an article on h
1) She said that accept me for my talent My question: If any one do not have any talent, are you saying that society should not accept or respect them?. People should accept others for what they are. not for talent or anything else.
2) She started wearing burkha because She is not going to look gorgeous for anybody. My question: If Society respects you for your beauty and you want to change that why are you showing your face madam. your religion also have the solution for this.
Final: However, In this selfish world, I respect your selfless decision. I bow to you.
