There is no way one can stop crimes against women. The attraction between man and women is natural law. Nobody can control it. But some precautions would reduce the crimes.
Ladies should accept their vulnerability and behave carefully. For example, do not travel alone after midnight. There is nothing to feel ladies feel inferior by accepting their weakness. Can a man move freely in a jungle consisting tigers?
Secondly, stop saying moral police etc when people advise against kiss-of-loves, Valentine etc. It may be o.k. for some liberal advanced people. But that creates problems to some dignity mined women.
Thirdly, India should send a team to gulf nations to learn and get trained how to minimize crimes against women. I believe ladies are much safer in gulf nation.
should stop invoking GODDESSES OF INDIA in competition with each other if they are working for a company as their company Unnaturally Raises them using "Indian HR Magic Practices" To a crecendo during the time they are at work to raise their stock market indices and when they leave the workplace they are left to fend for themselves in public. This way the companies make billions in revenue on stockmarkets. In last week they made Trillions.

Companies also have ways and means to artificially threaten employees by giving them bouts of bad luck if they are not compliant, this is made by making them puppets in a system which only HR has keys to unlock if they are capable. HR works as the shephard of all the company COWS and goats
The major reason for all the lack of law and order in India is simply this : the police to population ratio is just 130 per 100000 people, well below the minimum police strength of 222 per 100000 people recommended by the UN.
Law and order is needed for healthy progress of the country in all sectors, and this is essentially provided by a good and effective police force.
All developed and progressive nations have a very good police to population ratio. France (356), Germany (298 ),Great Britain( 307 ), U.S.A (256),Spain (511),Belgium(373), Malaysia (370),Singapore(752) are examples.
Good law and order ensures a healthy society and a good background for economic development as well for obvious reasons.
If India aspires to be a developed nation, it should first increase the police to population ratio from its measly 130 at present to at least the UN recommended minimum police strength of 222.
Otherwise all these crimes and protests will keep on happening without any end at sight.

The Indian government need not get tense and worried about the costs of maintaining a 222 strong police to population ratio, as the strong economic development that comes with good law and order will more than compensate for the greater investment in the policing sector.

LAw is atill law.Wat was an underage girl doing in a pub. Remember all sorts of fun comes with it's dangers. Wat about the boy who was stabbed in bombay b'coz he tried to save a lady friend from being molested and that was in public too. Sorry ladies u arnt going to find too many knights in shining armour's who dont even know u trying to go against a bunch of hoodlums. Unless the faith is restored in the police u will not have the common man trying to heldp each other and that's a true story. everybody is worried about thier own safety b4 anyone leses coz they know that even if they try to help and do escape the hoodlums they will not escape the mental torture the cops will put them through......law and order in idna is a mess and women are not the only victims. This topic will get discussed for 2 weeks then all will forget just like kargil war, 26 /11, bombay stabbing, calcutta rape etc.....unfortunate but true

one non-issue causes issue.... sure need to punish that animals who did molestation. surprise why a goat went in to jackals cage to cut a cake! who bring her.... the developing india or devasting culture...!!
There are certain assumptions - like it happens in small places and not in big cities!! Rubbish!! Its about attitude of people and not the size of the city , plus in smaller places people are not just spectators liked in metros - in general.
Why isn't the behaviour of louts who break into shops justified by saying that it is the shops' / shopkeepers' fault for have such excellent displays of merchandise in the windows?
This whole Indian culture is under assault because women wear revealing dresses is just hypocrisy to cover up a bunch of criminals who would like to assault women.
Stop giving criminals space. Today they assaulted a young girl outside a Pub at Guwahati, unchecked & emboldened these criminals may enter your house tomorrow and commit crimes.

then why do you close doors before sleeping. You should leave it open and expect that police will catch thieves.......

It is in women's own interest not to wear provocative and revealing dresses. This is India and it is not a 1st or 2nd world country. In those countries law is tough and non partisan and even if there is a molestation or rape the victim do not suffer redicule and indignity in the society for the rest of their lives. They can lead normal life again. It is not so in India.
A family celebrated their first born's b'day-a girl- at their home with the neighbours. When their son was born his b'day was celebrated at a big Hotel.
