The reporter has not visited NICE Road from Bangalore to Mysore. Even the State Highway from Bangalore to Mysore, except a few distance is exceptional. Even he has missed the Highway from Madurai to Trichy, Maurai to Rameswaram and Tuticorin. Whatabout the Highways to kerala and the State Highways in Kerala. Very neatly planned. Southern States also within Indian boundary. Let your reporters remember often.

yes you are right.., southern states roads are very specatucular... the writer is missed all the super... natural beauty highways in south....Bangalore-Mysore, TVM-Claicut, etc etc....

The 'reporter' Bijoy kumar Y was the editor of Business Std Motoring mag for close to 8years. He is now with M & M and is in charge of organising Mahindra Offroad adventures all over India.He is a keralite too,despite the Bengali sounding spelling. Surprised that he has missed out Chennai-Pondy East coast Road and stretches of NH47 on Alappuzha-Trivandrum.
India is a place for producing poverty and beggars.They are factory produced and all other businesses are proponent to that cause. There is purposeful design to keep beggars and poor more in numbers than educated and sensible to loot resources and profit of the nation and tax-payers money. Cheap labor,sensex, GDP these are all rubbishes to loot and speak all nonsense shamelessly on the face of it whoever protests simply because they cant ever outnumber beggars and fawners who can be purchased at throw-away prices. Hence this way one can cling to power for generations without any reason to work or need any talent but cultivate power and create bandwagon of goons, dalals and fawners and allow them to start their companies to convert black to white and produce more middlemen and loot even more. It suits desi politicians as well as colonial powers even more to loot India.

You are absolutely correct ofroal. Indians are very ignorant towards improving their record of safety. India is also a very dangerous country as well. I can understand why India as a country is universally disrespected, in every shape, way and form.

Most of the great things done in last 10 years in India like Delhi Metro, Delhi Intn'l airport T3, Mumbai monorail, Mumbai expressway broad roads, Yamuna Expressway etc have all been done under non BJPee rules. Remove myth that NDA can only lay best roads and infrastructure.

any idea why non-NDA parties woke up after 2004 to lay infra when they had time since 1947?
Better road conditions, thanks to VajpayeeJi and NDA. UPA slowed it down to loot more money. Attitude of the drivers need truck loads of improvement. In the highways, speed can be increased with heavy monitoring and penalization for over-speeding.
