Can be made better with a) Extra lane for failed vehicles b) Landline every km to report any accident c) Eloborate barricades so people dont casualy cut it off and vehicles run over

I would rather award a contract to a foreign road construction company (from Ireland or Germany), to build and also improve much of India's highways and expressways and use import their design and learn how to manintain the roads, but strictly force and teach Indians how to drive safely, responsibly, confidently and reliably, without the influence of drugs and alcohol, and not risking the lives of passengers and other drivers.

47 ? Kerala is not allowing that road to be widened because they dont want to lose land .Typical backward mentality.From Bombay to Kanyakaumari it is a coastal road.But the writer is mention something special
The information provider has very limited knowledge about express higway, Delhi -Agra NH2 ?, delhi Gurgaon - jaipur NH8? greater Noida-Delhi Express way?......?

Spectacular does not exist in the Indian vocabulary. If you want anything spectacular, do not expect to find it in our country. Go to the UAE, Japan, Malaysia, Ireland, or Germany as example of spectacular. India never can be spectacular in anything and that is a true fact. I know that, because I lived and work abroad for 25 years.
