Not always ... some south Indians are very nice ... just the way some northies are very bad ... so it always depends on their upbringing, mentality and habits and not on the region! I worked for an organization for two years... head of region gave me promotion during recession ... a manager joined (who was a southie) and on very first day he complained my Sr. Manager (who was also a southie) that I am worthless ... my Sr. Manager said "I know this guy and his abilities ... so try not to complain but build a good rapport and then you will come to know what he is!" ... similarly I have come across many good as well as bad people (does not matter which place they hail from!) Don't spread hatred dude ... we are anyway getting divided because of these politicians! Grow up!

Mr Shailendra you are big time idiot. There are lot of southy whose mgr is northys and vice-versa.... and every thing going fine. It is attitude which matters...What is problem if they speack their language. You speak english which not Indian language...but you are forced to speak...southy are not forcing u to speak their language...one shd be proud of speaking in their own language when they are together. Only work related things should be spoken in English else speak whatever Indian language you know.
I myself is a sufferer. I was in Bangalore for 14 years. Worked with a company for 8 years and then quit that job. Came back to Kolkata (My native). Worked with a Company who became financially unstable. We had to quit and leave the job. Went back and joined a company called Total Environment Woodworks Pvt. Ltd. It was previously known as Quetzel Design Pvt. Ltd. They promised me a salary which was never paid in time. Always there were delays and till almost 20th of every month we were to wait for the Salary. Almost everyday we had to stay back till 8 PM for the project work. There was no personal life either. We had to work in the Sundays and even on the holidays. I had joined there as a Project Manager. Eventually I decided to quit. When I conveyed it to the MD he agreed to it. I gave my resignation. Eventually after a month he called me and told me to wait till he gets a replacement in place of me. After almost 3 months also he did not release me. I had to leave my job and go out. I was called in to settle. When I went back, he told me that he will raise a theft complaint on me, if I ask for a salary for the last 3 months. Eventually I got a job somewhere else, and decided to let go my 3 months Salary.More so because the ACP of Bangalore is a close friend of him and he had used this against 2 previous employees.

AMITAV its time you better go to Labour court and file a case against the company. I am 100% sure that if you stand strongly then they have to pay you not only for 3 months but also for harrassing you . Tc

We try to as sincere as possible, as dedicated as, as work-o-holic as, ignore our family, social life, our children, their studies, career, and overall EVERYTHING to impress our boss and one fine day we realize that we are neatly getting shaved off with all the above and QUIT the job - remember one thing - BE AN INDIAN WHEN YOU ARE AT HOME AND BE AN AMERICAN WHEN YOU ARE AT OFFICE - NEVER EVER SHOW THAT YOU CAN DO MUCH MORE THAN WHAT YOUR BOSS EXPECTS FROM YOU, AND ONLY THEN YOU CAN SAVE YOUR JOB
