Be Practical
by abc_xyz abc_xyz on Feb 23, 2012 12:51 PM

This article is for those not-so-competent people at work to be successful. Those who are strong in their domain and have full control over their job, would always be successful, whether they follow these points or not. Its just that in a profit oriented firm, peformance alone matters. And the top management would always look after you to deliver the work, irrespective of your work ethics. This is sad, but true.

However, if you are a fresher/learner/avg performing employee, you then need to follow these steps diligently, in order to achieve some success. That way, this article is useful.

I am pretty sure what you mean by "Learnt"..however i am sure that Narayana Murthy and Bill Gates (the examples that you used) would have surely had all the good qualities and niceties mentioned in the article above. It is no Harm following what is told. Sincere Efforts without expecting any rewards and "System" will take care?? Where are you working Mr Raju. In an Orphanage? or Charity? or any Religious institution?...Please rethink what you have just written...

Biggest mistake
by aditi sampat on Feb 23, 2012 10:54 AM  | Hide replies

The biggest mistake we make, probably any workplace related article in the world will never write, is "Dirty Workplace polictics" with our peers and "Chamchagiri" with our seniors whether apparent or not. Nothing, not even our conscience or ethics stop us from doing this. We do everything we can to bring our peer down. We go to temple to worship and then we also do such cheap antics. What we forget is we have to answer the Lord Almighty for all our sins when we leave this world. I have seen this politics been played in MNCs, in addition to Indian companies. Sorry to say, your article does not discuss the real issue, but only discusses paraphernalia.

Emotion management for self
by arun sharma on Feb 23, 2012 10:35 AM  | Hide replies

Personal emotion and Office emotions- Two separate entity
If personal emotios are transferred into office or business emotions then there are more chances of negative result as it happened recently in a airline business. If positive personal emotions are integrated into office emotions( work as per rule) then that person gives big result. If negative personal emotions are translated into office emotion and work ,the dishonesty starts and that organisation becomes a failure whether in private or public sector. This specially is concerned with key persons of any industry or office. In our situation negative personal emotions are translated in office working emotions in many sectors leading to chaos and corruption. There is also baseline regional variation in this thought process of contrast situation at social and political level. This subject is very important as it is concerned with country,s development. India is rich in resources i.e. mineral resource, water resource, agriculture resource manpower resource.Only this issue should be refined and spread by our honest policy makers
