The Price is high because the plant is in Baramati. So definitely the company need to pay local taxes (extra). No need to elaborate this (those who know Baramati & Local Taxes, can very well understand my point).

Please note: 1) the competition would be mainly with Suzuki Access & Mahindra Duro - both 125 cc (Honda Activa is 110 cc).

Nice designs and peppy colors. Every one who are thinking that price will stop people from buying this is wrong... Indians now have lot of money... 66K is just about less than 2K on EMI. Indians now pay for technology... nano being a flop is the biggest example of this
I guess vespa is looking to launch all scooters as "Limited Editions". With such huge price tag for this segment, It is going to be limited in sales.:D Alternatively, If Vespa wants to reel in the moola, price it at 50-55k and watch at least 40-50 % of Activa bookings getting canceled and people running to piaggio showrooms. Activa by itself is over-priced, but customers had no other decent choice. Many of the Mahindra Duros and TVC Wegos are bought since people cant wait for the long waiting list of activa..

Sorry Sir, With this Price you have to shutdown Your Plant with in a Year. Also Please fox the capacity 15000 instead of 150000 as the demand will not be more than that
it s good to see the italian manufacturer has launched a vechicle in the the indian market. vespa is a good product keeping the past experience with the scooters that we had in india. atleast we have alternative to HONDA ACTIVA. let us see how this goes.
