Wrapping up this article in one word - It is a useless article and doesn't have any element of truth attached to it excepting for sweets and pasteries like we all know that it needs to be cut.

Please remove watermelon and green tea

I always use watermelon rich diet to reduce weight (whenever I put on weight) and it always worked. It helps me to fill my stomach with very less calories. Also, green tea, from my experience, is very effective replacement for normal tea for weight loss. I don't think the article is well researched.

Eat as per your body genetic history

Each one of us is different in body composition, needs and metabolism. The human body is like a machine that has INPUTS and OUTPUTS interms of energy. Avoid foods that are high in these 3 perennial evils: Oil, Salt and Sugar.

Eat every food as close as possible to its natural form aka unprocessed. Try to steam most vegetables and add OIL garnishing only in the end, instead of frying in the beginning.

In addition, drink the water in which the vegetables are boiled, to get vitamins.
Walk a lot daily rather than just sitting and driving around in a car. Drink lots of water periodically in short 1 Cup of Water (200ml) every hr. Avoid Caffeine/Alcohol/Soft Drinks.
Go for simple lemon water freshly squeezed.

Most of all, enjoy your life and quit high stress jobs. Its not worth the money and the false illusions that come with it. Enjoy a simple, relaxed life to improve your health. When you are happy and relaxed, automatically, your health and weight will stabilize.

Anyone who goes through Rediff site knows that Rediff suggests drinking Green Tea, eating Watermelon,...etc. In this article, they say not to eat.

My sincere question to the writer, "WHAT SHOULD WE EAT THEN??????"

First thing the article needs to explain is what is OBESE and at what body weight you can call someone OBESE.

Without knowing if you are a obese or not you cannot cut down or stop eating the foods mentioned in article........the author has mentioned almost all the foods that we eat on daily basis.

watermelon is the best fruit with less calories, and this idiot writes do not eat it, giving some strange reason. please don't get misguided by rediff articles, do research and get to know the facts especially when it comes to articles related to ones health and body.
