Inspite of their growing numbers, those who drink and screw during the 9 days form a very small percentage of the total number of revellers. Every community has a few black sheep and that cannot be considered as a blot on the community as a whole. This has nothing to do with religion, its a fall out from economic growth.
absurd.. do parents know what their kids do or go in the daytime all year.. wat is it abt those 9 nights that can't be done in the day all yr.. then these parents should be hiring detectives all year since they don't trust them anyway

Absolutely right. Just 20 minutes are enough to freak out. If children are hell bent on making it out, no one can stop them. Stopping children from doing it or confronting them with evidence is no solution at all! The most practical approach is to educate them to use proper methods to avoid undesirable fall outs.

Remember - "a standing d1ck has no concience". Once the act starts, no one is going to stop to put on the protective equipment. Rather than asking detectives to do that, parents should pass a packet of condoms to their children before they leave for garba. This is a cheaper, cost effective and practical solution than spending 20000 or 50000 on detectives.

I don't do anything hanky panky. With my standing dick, I have fathered my 2 legitimate kids only.
In India, The private detectives (not the owners of the detective firms but the persons employed by them) will catch errant children, blackmail them and take bribes for not letting their parents know what they are doing behind their backs.
ABSOLUTELY Bullsh@t. Children lie to their parents because they very well know that they won't be able to handle the truth.
Obviously, the detective agencies are not going have issues with privacy of the children, and they feel ok to invade the privacy because 1. The parents are paying big money 2. Money kills conscience.
The funny thing is I wonder what were these parents doing when they were teenagers, Probably they have done it all and are now worried that their kids are gonna do the same.
Today teengers, with Navratri or NO Navratri, if they want to have physical relations, smoke, drink, they can do it. Are the parents going to keep watch on their every move?
I still rem how we used to count how many hits we have made and trying to beat each other, not sure how things suddenly become so easy on those days, not just girls but even mature women can be reached if you play well.
Not sure how far the things have changes with all these. Good luch to all those who will be playing this year..play well but be safe.
The Natural Instincts are and were always there.............and because it is there .........we call it natural. With marriage pushed to age 30 for guys and 27 for women...........education, work etc. there is no point in postponing the natural instincts. The good news is one can respond to Natural Instincts in a 'safe way'.............in the end it is a choice that one makes individually...........so bet it!!

I know as young guns its big and very important thing to do it but once you have done with few dozens obver few hundered times, you still like it but its no big deal. I think experience is the only way this can be learned.

Why parents should let out their children to do all these? Navaratri means a festival devoted to Godess Durga and others. But where it has been mentioned to let all this dirty to be happened. which shastras have said that to do all these things. Shastras said to perform puja and not all things that we want to do. why should this festival be used for all the dirty desires one wanted to do. This is a sacred festival and please donot change the culture- a request for all parents and Children. Please think.
