Parents distrust their ward because they remember what they did or what they saw or heard when they were young. But it is always good to trust ones children. It is very rare for the child to tread the wrong path unless they are not cared by their parents.

if world ran on trust and truth,why police and courts and laws were made in the first place??treading the wrong path has to do with lack of opportunity than anything else...just because a parent cares for his ward does not neccsessarily stop him/her from doing something morally wrong.....

This all happens because of all the unnecesary short clothings and glamour in bollywood, soaps and even the reality shows. Now even our marathi culture is not fare behind. the author says back in the days blah blah, do you remember back in the days was this the same with bollywood. the main issue is if we can stop all this horrible nonsense glamour in the social life itself then no need of detectives, the tradition will stop itself over there. All the bollywood stuff is keeping a wrong picture of our culture in front of our kids and then we make a hype that our kids are wrong, they are not wrong but they are just following the current trend which they feel is right to which we parents are not opposing.
