This is very well said. Failure is the piller of success. Lots of example to see failed people who reached top. IAS / IPS are just an govt employee, someof them who have got lot of opportunity to loot the govt coffers. ANNA HAZERA is fighting for that.

May be its true up to some extent but first of all this kind of language is very bad to comment and too entirely negative. Secondly this is the criticism of a failure personality- it seems like " The grapes are sour" may be you are doing well in Australiabut but remember for generations you will not get the equality of those white people and recent brutal killings of Indians are evident of that. So the slavery in real you have coosen. I do hope that some day the picture will be change coz it takes time to become mature so as to our democracy is.It dosnt mean that good and talented people should stop joining the nation.There is a need to change the way of thinking.

There are lot of career opportunity besides IAS / IPS. Lot of peoples prospering in different fileds and earning a lot. But the image of IAS / IPS is going down day by day.

IAS and IPS are the real cancer in our society. They work really hard for the competitive exams only to loot this country along with their politcian. In fact I have several young aspirants and they have clear said that it is for the money. If they really wanted to bring about a change in our society, together they have more power than all politians. They can go on strike and put their demands. Whether its a gent or a lady, the most corrupt people in india are these officers and they have taken oath to uphold on gita/bible/quran and still go aganist it. So nothing to be proud of when a parent says that I son/daughter have passed civils. It is only to loot the country. Shameless people.
