Slutations to our ancient Hindu Rishis
by Vishvaksenah E on Jan 27, 2011 06:46 PM  | Hide replies

The entire humanity must bow down to the intelligence of our ancient Hindu Rishis who gave this set of asanas to humanity at large.

They believed in the concept of 'sarve bhavantu sukhinah'- let every one be happy.

Kudos to Rediff for publishing this informative essay.

Dear Singh Sir,

Yoga is a general body exercise adopted by rishis to keep them rejuvenated always. It’s not just exercise, the body movement mingled with breathing is creating real energy to the person doing Yoga. Yoga is not restricted to any community or religion. It’s one of the fitness process without involving any side effects but with the added energy and enthusiasm to the person doing it..

Dear North
No need for a copy & paste if you are familiar with a subject u r interested. I have little familiar with YOGA and experienced its real output.
